Nestled at the foot of Pikes Peak in Cascade, Colorado, The Wines of Colorado is an unheralded, romantic oasis and an easy 15 minute drive from downtown Colorado Springs. True to its name, the restaurant, tasting room, retail wine sales and gift shop, all do a brisk sip-and-sup business, but while oenophiles can be found sniffing their way around the tasting room, epicureans retire to the wood planked deck or Creekside dining area to feast on towering sandwiches and burgers, including the very popular buffalo wine burger, a juice-dribbling, hand formed patty sky scraped with grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms, and roasted green chilis. Dine in the shade of the willows and pines next to Fountain Creek or on our sunny deck overlooking the creek. Combined with great food and wine, this is the Colorado experience you have been looking for. Shielded from the sun by wispy willow trees and aromatic pines along the creek, The Wines of Colorado is the perfect place to enjoy your getaway.
We enjoy this restaurant, whether it's a special day or just a drive to the mountains. Buffalo wine burger costs $11.95. The Chicken melt costs $10.95. Sides include baked beans, red potatoes, or coleslaw. Wines were $7.95 a glass. Since we had a $7.00 off coupon, we splurged on the white cheesecake and carrot cake (Huge!). For 3 of us, the total was less than $75.00.

The Cliff House Dining Room has gained national renown as one of Colorado’s premier dining destinations. We are proud recipients of the distinguished DiRoNa Award and the 4 Diamond Award in Fine Dining from AAA.
We had a delightful dinner here! Drinks were very good and we were presented with a special bite sized appetizer ....a gift from the chef....it was awesome!! Our dinners were very good....the elk chop and the shrimp and scallops dish! Bread pudding was excellent!
Breakfast is included with your hotel stay. After such a wonderful dinner the evening before, I was very disappointed with the breakfast! Fresh squeezed juice and coffee were great....breakfast pastries were terrible...dry, and very bland...cold and tasteless! The egg casserole dish seemed to be dried out. Fruit and bacon were good.
I gave the excellent rating for the meal we paid for.....but I would have to give the breakfast a poor rating!

The Sahara Cafe offers a variety of the Middle Eastern foods such as Falafels,Chicken,Hummus,Kabob,Baba Ganoush, and caters alot of events.
Picked up lunch once from here, the falafels were wonderful. Good meditation food with plenty of vegetarian options. Good location, but parking can be tricky to find on Manitou Ave. We had falafel sandwich, platter and some fries - everything was in line or above our expectations.

We make the best Custard in the West. Come blend your favorite topping into our fresh frozen Custard.
We scouted out Colorado Custard Company while walking through Manitou Springs. Their custard (vanilla, chocolate or mix) was all awesome! Hand scooped and delicious! the gentleman working the counter was awesome with the kids and taking their orders. Everything was super fresh and we loved the custard! Their are cute little table around the corner that are perfect for enjoying your custard!

Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, at 7800 ft, in the town of Green Mountain Falls, the Mucky Duck Restaurant has been serving fine cuisine since 2001. Whether it is a cozy dinner for two or a gathering for a large group, the Mucky Duck can cater to your needs.Catering is also available for off-site parties.
Dining options are limited in GMF, but that is probably because no one wants to compete with this place. Good fine dining with a nice selection of food and wine.

P.J.'s Bistro is a modern eatery with Eastern European influence. We also offer an array of American food with a fresh twist.Made fresh daily, from scratch.
We stopped in for dinner and were surprised to find a restaurant with a European menu. The specialties are best described as comfort food served on potato pancakes. Our table had the Meatloaf with Five Mushroom Sauce on Potato Pancakes and the Stuffed Cabbage Rolls. Both were excellent.

The epitome of family run business. Transplanted NJ to CO but none of the in your face associated with NJ. Homemade ice cream, friendly service, so much so that I am sending them my treasured bicentennial Virginia license plate to add to their collection of plates on the walls as it has no Virginia plate.
Friendly family including a senior dog and fantastic ice cream.

We love making sweet things. Our home-made ice cream has been voted the best year after year and our hand-made chocolates and sweets are created with such care and attention they have gained a local and national following. Along with old-fashioned chocolate favorites, a truly decadent line of truffles, espresso drinks, and funky gifts, we also have a friendly team just waiting to "sweeten your day!"
The ice cream served (which is Josh & John's brand, a Colorado Springs craft creamery) is delicious and several of their flavors are gluten free. Unfortunately, the portions are meticulously weighed and a single scoop means exactly that - one small scoop. Given that the prices are a little on the high end, this all makes for a treat of average value. The staff said that most of their chocolates are made without gluten containing ingredients, but because there was such a high level of cross contamination persons with gluten sensitivity should avoid the candy altogether.

Gluten free, vegetarian, vegan items available. If you don't see what you're looking for, just ask! We are always willing to accommodate!
It was a very cold day in Manitou so I headed to Good Karma to warm up and enjoy a coffee. I ordered one of the specialty coffees with white chocolate, and it was perfect! The prices are reasonable considering the amount and quality of the coffee. I also ordered a cinnamon roll which complimented my drink nicely. They also do breakfast, which I will have to try next time. The server was very friendly, although a little slow but they were alone on a busy day. The atmosphere of Good Karma, was very cozy and had plenty of space. Next time I find myself in Manitou I will have to come back for breakfast and a coffee.
