Award Winning Chef/Owner. Freshly prepared, fresh fish and seafood, banquet room, large party, caterings, weddings, rehearsal dinner and corporate events.
We were on a bus trip with around 40 people. We had a limited menu, however, there were six choices we could select from. My chicken was a little dry but the green beans were absolutely wonderful. My husband got the Seared Tilapia with black bean rice. The fish was good my husband said he was not impressed with the black beans and rice. The desserts were absolutely wonderful. We had a choice of 4 or 5 different items. The owner and chef came out and greeted us which I thought was very nice. I'm sure if you went to this restaurant as a couple the food would have been much better. Trying to feed 40 people is difficult.

I really like the atmosphere at Gallery Row and it can be pleasant to sit at one of their outdoor tables to watch the action on the square. But the coffee has always just been fine, nothing special. My hot-chocolate-loving kid has tossed her Gallery Row hot chocolate more than once. It gives the feel that they are trying just a little too hard to be trendy, while serving mediocre food and drink.
The limited selection of food is overpriced. I have never tried the lunches, but I've always been disappointed with the overpriced sweets I tried. The one exception is the fritter, which they get from a nearby bakery. Vogelsburg's fritters are awesome, and I have been known to come to Gallery Row for a fritter Vogelsburg's had closed for the day already.
It is a good meeting spot-just don't expect to be wowed by the fare.

A taste o' Scotland and wee bit more... Welcome friends, to the Highland Deli and Grill! Come on in and enjoy a hot lunch with us. Try one of our delicious sandwiches with Boar's Head brand meats and cheeses stacked high on fresh baked bread. We've got pipin' hot soup made fresh every single mornin' and daily specials big enough to fill the belly of a full grown Scottish Coo!
Small place that serves many people! My favorite is the MacBeth sandwich (toasted crossiant with goat cheese, cranberry and Turkey. They also have lunch specials everyday. The Shepherds Pie is delicious as is the corn/crab chowder. You order at the counter then sit inside or outside and your order is brought to you. They also have a takeout counter located across the hallway. Have tried many different sandwiches and meals and have never had one that I did not like.

I am so glad we stumbled into Carrollton and found this restaurant. It was cheery inside with pleasant waitstaff and terrific food especially nice on a dreary rainy November day. We had soup of course, mine was delicious tomato, his was French onion. I had really good fried green tomatoes and my husband had a good salad. All in all if I am ever back that way I will come again.

The Corner Cafe us nestled into Carrollton's historic downtown square. Don't let the odd sounding menu items throw you off as the Corner Cafe is a treasure trove of delicacies that will leave you craving for more. For example, my favorite selection is the Jellyfish Sandwich, although no Jellyfish are used in the preparation of this tasty chicken and cheese panini! With so many great options, it may take you a while to decide what to order! Regardless, you won't be disappointed!

When I tell friends the name of our restaurant, I often hear "Tra-what?" So, what exactly is a trattoria? A trattoria is an Italian family style restaurant, sort of a mom and pop kitchen. With casual atmosphere and modest prices, it is the perfect place to bring the entire family for lunch or dinner. At La Trattoria on the Square, we want you to feel at home. Bring the kids, the in-laws, or your best friend to enjoy a traditional Italian meal at a price that won't break the bank. We offer traditional pastas and a killer lasagna as well as lighter fare for lunch. With hearty Italian as well as vegetarian dishes, everyone is sure to find something to suit their palate. Our presto lunch menu is desinged to get you back to the office in time for your afternoon clients. No time to wait? Call ahead and we'll have your meal waiting for you. La Trattoria, it's like going home to Mama's.
We walked the Adamson Square to find La Trattoria and loved it. We found a gem for good consistent food, reasonable prices and impeccable service. We had the spaghetti with meat sauce and eggplant Parmesan, along with a Mediterranean salad. The salad was plentiful and very tasty. Entrees are a good value and We would recommend the full order for the price, $15 versus $10 for a half order. Topped it off with a chocolate trifle dessert which was a nice finish. We would highly recommend and we didn't even try their brick oven pizzas, which looked and smelled delicious. Wish we had more time to Ry their manicotti, ravioli or lasagna. We will definitely be back when in the area.

After reading some reviews on here I decided to give the place a try. I’ll never go again and doubt they will last another year or so. I had what I thought was a simple meal-cheese burger plain with fries and a coke. The hamburger meat itself was ok but the bun wasn’t toasted and the fries were a weird looking dark brown color and cold. I ask for another order that were just ok! Not good or great - just plain old plain old. The coke was the only thing great! Now comes the check -$15.00 for this nasty meal. Tip and all (felt sorry for the server) out the door was $18.00. Come on man just cause we are from Carrollton doesn’t mean we are stupid. I’d fire the cook and manager and start over!!!! Ridiculous. Burger King way better! You want rip me off again

Neat little place with a relaxed atmosphere . Service was friendly and attentive. Interesting drink menu with some choices I had never seen such as the irish holiday. The shepherds pie was hearty, tasty, and piping hot. The prices are extremely reasonable, with around $4 for a cocktail and $9 for a belly-busting meal - can't be beat! The downtown area looks like it's trying to come alive so check this place out! There is a covered parking garage (free) within walking distance.

Samba Loca is a 'go to' place when out of town friends visit Carrollton. The food is usually very good (with a few minor exceptions), the service is usually friendly and attentive, and it's a nice relaxing setting to sit and talk and catch-up without...MoreThank you for dining with us! we hope to see you back soon!

When we're on the run and especially with friends out of town, Sam's House ribs are always our first choice for barbecue in Carrolton... because quite simply, we just can't make them as good as Sam's and want to spend that time with friends instead of tending to our ribs. Highly recommended!!!
