The Bean Inn was born in 2003 and its reputation has grown steadily throughout the years. The restaurant is a popular choice with both tourists and locals and offers a warm intimate setting spread over 3 small dining rooms displaying local art. Our aim in the restaurant is to offer you some of the tastiest vegetarian and vegan dishes from around the world. Bringing you the best flavours means using the best quality ingredients. We therefore use local, organic and seasonal produce whenever possible. We are members of the Vegetarian Society's Food & Drinks Guild. Porthmeor Beach Café Bar is open daily from Easter to November and serving food from 9:00am to 9:30pm. With Australian chef Cameron Jennings at the helm, breakfasts are renowned and our tapas menu has an acclaimed reputation. Becks has expanded into a restaurant with bar and lounge area to complement the still thriving take-away. The restaurant area itself seats over 100 people. Becks does not take Reservations, although notification of parties over 9 people is recommended. The main selling point and one of the major credentials is that Becks offer gluten free options.
