really friendly and nice food - the family had been before. I have sore gums and the toast that came with my breakfast was too crunchy for me to eat comfortably so asked for just bread and butter - wihich they supplied and declined when I offered to pay extra - nice touch. Food was all lovely and atmosphere was great. Lovely place to go for walk as
well.

Modern Italian Restaurant. Pizza, Pasta, Coffee, Hearty breakfasts, casual Mediterranean meals and cocktails in a stylish, modern space.
A regular breakfast haunt for us and week after week Lena, Dario and their fabulous staff always deliver. The food is consistently good and the staff are very friendly. The waffles have been removed from the menu but there are many other options including a number of vegan and vegetarian ones. Also great for lunch and dinner.

After Reading the hype online, we drove about 40 mins just for a coffee and bagel and to tell you the truth, it wasn't really worth it.
The coffee was ok and the bagel was a little tasteless.
If the locals like it, then bonza to them.

Authentic Sarawakian food (East Malaysia). Good value for money. Highly recommend "Kolo Mee" and "Kampua". The Assam Fish Head curry is yummy. It tastes almost just like home. During peak hours can be packed and have to wait for table. It's no frills, hawker type of restaurant setting. A very busy, popular and good service. No problem with parking as it's located near the Kardinya Shopping Centre.
Trading hours are from 11am - 8:30pm.
Address: 17 South Street, Kardinya 6163 (Next to Chicken Treat)

From the outside a small sign gives away its location, we nearly missed it driving past. The decor and restaurant itself is nothing to look at, and actually may deter some people. Cheap tables and chairs etc.
However the food was priced moderately, and servings were large. The shawarma was flavourful, the meat succulent and the complimentary bread was fresh and light. The fluffy garlic dip is a definite must.
The shisha prices range between $20 - $25 and the outdoor area really doesn't look good. However the shisha is exceptional. The Orange flavour with a orange as the head is really well done.

The first thing we noticed was the terrible condition the tables and booths are in. The table tops are only just balancing, the booth seats are torn and missing pieces of the covering, at all booths not just ours.
The waiter took our order wrong, initially our child's meal was not sent to the kitchen. I asked for no mushrooms and got extra mushrooms. My husbands and my meals were lukewarm at best.
Even though we were using my birthday voucher I felt ripped off that night $70 for poor service and food.

I came here with a friend for a casual birthday lunch and it exceeded my expectations. The Peking duck was very good, especially for the price and the other hard part is choosing your dish. Very traditional feel adds to the ambience as well. Drop by!

Juniper and Bay is one of those places you’ve heard so many good things about but have always had second thoughts. Probably due to its suburban location or that it’s attached to the two-star Windsor Motel.
It is a very unassuming restaurant that definitely punches above its level. As it was a special occasion I convinced my fiancée to go with the degustation menu with a bottle of French champagne.
The food was beautifully plated, fresh and the flavours well balanced. The staff were present, attentive and non intrusive. The restaurant was intimate, comfortable and grounded. The owner-chef was present, approachable and sincere. I loved the place as did my girlfriend. A remarkable restaurant that represents a totally memorable experience.
Would thoroughly recommend that you make a booking as even on a Wednesday night it was a full house, you won’t be disappointed - this is a real gem.

Firstly I would like to comment on the friendly service. We went there in the afternoon. I had a three day old baby. So I was desperate for soft serve after nine months if not having it. The owner explained the flavours and gave tastings. Brought our yoghurt out to the table. The variety of flavours is amazing. I highly recommend the chocolate and salted caramel.
I want this constantly and travel far for it

Stopped here on the way through. Nice food, while it's not going to make your tastebuds sing, it's probably the best that is on offer in a small town. Had the woodcutters pie which was good, and scones. The ambience was classic converted inn style. I think we got them on a busy day as the Waitstaff was very busy running food and taking orders and seemed flustered.
