We stayed in Cambridge, OH tonight on the way home from Thanksgiving with family. As we most often do, we check TripAdvisor ahead to decide where to eat and stay on road trips.
We reserved our hotel room (that review will be posted tomorrow after our stay is completed!) and made dinner reservations at ‘The Bears Den.’ Both reservations were based on TA reviews.
If you appreciate excellent steaks and great service in a casual dining atmosphere, this restaurant is a must! From the hostess to the server to the runner, the staff was great.
Both my husband and I had the filet dinners. Our steaks were ordered medium and medium-rare and they were cooked to perfection! In addition to the exact temp, the flavor was beyond great. This meat must be prime. Delicious!!!
The sides (and add-ons ... mushrooms and onions for the steaks) were very good: house salad, Cole slaw, Brussel sprouts and home cut fries.
Highly recommended this restaurant in Ohio from these Michigan travelers! By the way, the 2017 Ohio State / U of M game is tomorrow ... we felt a bit out of our element the sea of red ... but that does not change our rating of this fine establishment!!!

We ran in to pick up some desserts on a long drive. They had a huge selection of scrumptious goodies. Cakes, doughnuts, cookies! We opted for baklava, cream puffs and cheesecake. They were all excellent! When we drive by Cambridge we will be back to Kennedy's bakery!

I had not been here for I think it was 35 years. I had told my wife of 28 years about it and this was the our first chance to go. It was everything I remembered. The pies- yes the pies. They were busy and the service was great really friendly and welcoming, food arrived quickly and the value is really good. Better than fair- really good value.

Completely gutted and renovated in 2013. Dine with arches and Greek Gods or in our newly upscale bar which features high definition tv's for all the latest sports.
The grilled chicken was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The sweet potato fries were tasty as well. The side salad was just enough and watch out for the bread / butter. Service was very good.

So we were in salesville, oh on a getaway, and so we went to steak and ale for dinner. We had the artichoke dip, BAD DECISION! It was watered down and chips were stale!
However, having never seen deep fried frog legs before, I ordered that, and they were superb. Also beer prices were very reasonable. Overall, I would say this place is hit and miss, frog legs great, artichoke dip, stay away!

We went to this restaurant thinking that we would order breakfast, but only one out of three of us ordered breakfast and enjoyed it. The trout was a great choice and there was plenty of it. It is nice that the salads are not all iceberg lettuce any longer.

Fresh, locally sourced foods with an emphasis on comfort and healthy. We offer a selection of burgers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, pasta, appetizers and entrees with a selection of local craft beer, wine and specialty cocktails.
Super friendly staff. Super clean. Outstanding burgers, fries and fried pickles. My daughter and I had just finished a Spartan race nearby and desperately looked for an other-than-chain restaurant that we could relax, graze on hearty food and enjoy a few sips of quality vino....MoreThank you for the kind words. We go above and beyond when we get praise. Your positive review will help us excel and improve with every meal served.

The menu said lots of cheese on the salad, and they meant it. Stay away unless you really like your iceberg lettuce with a solid inch of shredded cheese.
We had half a square supreme pizza. The toppings were surely generous...but the sauce did not have a whole lot of flavor.
Perhaps it was an off night...we were passing through Cambridge and were attracted by the great reviews. However, while this was a perfectly acceptable pizza, we have no idea why the raves.

Don't expect to do your serious grocery shopping here but for lunch meat, chese, beer, wine, hot sauce and odds and ends, this is a great place. Located on the main drag in Cambridge t's a fine place to get eclectic odds and ends.

Ruby Tuesday has an attractive interior that offers welcome quiet for diners to enjoy their meal. We had been there a year ago and were pleased to find the same enjoyable restaurant we remembered. My fish was properly cooked and very tasty while my husband's smokehouse burger was almost too big for him to finish. The salad bar has been upgraded to what this chain offered a decade ago only now it charges an upgrade fee if you want it for a side. Since I love good salad bars, it was worth the extra $2. Entree prices are very reasonable and there is excellent choice.
