While staying at nearby Villa Roma my companion and I went exploring. With few dinner choices in this small town, we thought we were settling for a pizza shop! Instead we were pleasantly surprised to find a first class Italian restaurant behind this modest store front! We were seated in a plush booth but would have chosen the outdoor seating if it were earlier in the evening. I opted for the tasty meat lasagna and an IPA draft beer with its fresh head was the perfect compliment. My companion was very happy with her veal. Service was excellent and the pricing was reasonable.

I went there on a Sunday afternoon with my son and ordered one of the specials. The grilled shrimp and bacon wrap. A girl took my order and then a few min later brought me a basket of shrimp and fries. Because I don't like confrontation I just let it go. Next time I decide to go best believe I'm double checking the order

My husband and I took a nice motorcycle ride along the PA side of the Delaware River and happened upon this beautiful area of Tyler Hill. Not only did we enjoy the scenic country and winding roads, but the topper was a stop at this small town diner. Their burgers were awesome, their homemade pies were wonderful and the owner was so friendly. Some say, "it's not the destination...it's the ride...well this stop was well worth it !

Ordered 2 bowls of soup, an iced tea and a soda. Bill was $18.39. Asked about bill and was told drink refills are not free. This should be stated when you ask for a refill. Will not return for dinner here. Just a warning to others.

The food was a great surprise. The flounder was beautifully prepared. All 4 guests were pleased with their dinner. The desserts were freshly made, the blueberry pie was outstanding. The only downside was the noise level. Bread was not served. The brunch menu looked look you such give it a try.

visited this restaurant twice this month and I have to say they have been consistent with the buckwheat pancakes and our friends enjoyed their omellettes and home-fries. They need to change the brand of coffee they serve, it is never fresh tasting. Otherwise, it is a great place for breakfast and the pies are awesome.

Meals at the VRR were plentiful and the pastries were to die for-great service but sometimes food was overcooked.

Conveniently located right on Main Street, Tavern on Main is Sullivan County's newest community restaurant. Specializing in American fare that is both comforting and healthy.
Had dinner with friends. The restaurant was jumping; not a free table in sight. Terrific waitress, Jessica, patiently and efficiently and most pleasant, took care of this somewhat picky group. Each dish was really special - the scallops, crab cakes, the ribs, the trout, etc....MoreThat you for your kind words! We are glad we were able to leave a good impression!

We took a road trip from Brooklyn upstate and finished in Callicoon. What a spectacular drive, especially I guess during autumn.
We were looking for somewhere to have a drink and came across this superb pub. In fact it’s much more... there is also a micro brewery within the pub !
The place is just so interesting with highly original artefacts and the place has a great feel. The TV played UK premiership football whilst we were there... very homely.
But the atmosphere was so welcoming, we could have stayed all afternoon.
Tip, do take your camera, there are great photo opportunities within the pub and you will not be disappointed. The beers are great too.
So interesting, and a real unique experience. We loved it, and I guess you will too.
