We heard that this was a good restaurant but found the food to be plain and honestly not good at all. We got a hungarian sausage that did not taste like one with bland potato salad, ordinary chicken strips, greasy pizza and wilted garden salad. If you want to have a pleasant eating experience this is seriously NOT the place to go.

First visit for this branch was last Wednesday. I have been to different branches in different parts of the country. As usual ordered chicken pecho (breast) and halo2 to be prepared later. The chicken arrived faster than usual. It was soft and Juicy.
The halo2 came as we were finished with the chicken. As usual it was very good.
I will be back.

My first time in Jollibees, the Philippines answer to McDonald's.
It was a first birthday party that lasted 2 hrs and the children were entertained by a dedicated staff animation team with a variety of party games and prizes.also there was a guest appearance by Jollibee. the children were well entertained and the party ended with food and drink for everyone.
the whole programme was seamless and could not be faulted. the room was decorated to a high standard and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

About a dozen of us arrived just before the lunch hour and ordered food, primarily seafood cooked to order. The tuna belly, calamari, and grilled tuna jaw (panga) were all good. Good thing they also had air conditioned function rooms.

A place for good pizza at a good value. Service was quick and good. The restaurant was very clean and it is located in the midst of downtown, but still just a block from the highway so it has good access.

When you're in Butuan and you're in a hurry to have lunch or dinner, then a good choice is Red Apple Restaurant. Their home-cooked dishes are prepared simply and are affordable but are delicious. They have a variety of pork, beef, fish and vegetable dishes that you just need to pick from the display counter and they will be served to you fast. I liked the tortang dilis dipped in spicy vinegar and the beef steak with onion rings. The tinolang maya maya was also a delight in every sip.
Red Apple also serves native "kakanin" or snacks like cuchinta, buko pie, cassava cake, etc. For dessert, one can choose from buco pandan with lychee, fruit salad, leche flan, and halo-halo. I really like their halo-halo because the ice already has sugar and milk, and creates a delicious, thick cream when shaved. It has sweetened corn, gulaman, two types of beans, corn flakes, ube (purple yam), and ube ice cream. Another must-try is their chocolate cake which is so moist, chocolatey, and has just the right sweetness.

"People are drawn to Margie’s cafe because it is reminiscent of some boho-artsy European café or a hole-in-the wall hangout in an American college town." But loyal customers agree that the famous cakes/pastries, and tasty food keep them coming back.
I love, love their Cookie Monster Chocolate Cake. I bought 2 half size for take out. They were kind enough to pack it with extra carton/backing in order for it to survive my flight back to Manila the following day.
Since we were there around dinner timw, we decided to eat there. I ordered chicken pandan and bagoong rice.
The pandan was good. The bagoong rice was bland. Yes, bland. When I mixed the bagoong, nuts and the other side dish- it did not taste it. Maybe they should leasen the serving of the rice or add more side dish. The present ratio leaves it tasteless/bland.
But the chocolate cake- wow, they have kept the quality! I love, love it! I have been eating it for 4 straight days and it has remained moist still! Heavenly.

This place is located on the main highway that runs from Butuan to Cagayan de Oro. There is a Facebook account for this restaurant.
Ate here upon colleagues' recommendation. There were no crabs and limited live seafoods available so we settled ,ironicallly, for kalderetang kambing, pork BBQ, sinigang na hipon, ginataang talong, and adobong saang (shellfish).
The place was clean, service was fast and the waiters are all attentive but not obtrusive. No regrets having kalderetang kambing in a seafood restaurant, the meat was tender and tasty.

Cafe Caliente serves best pasta and brewed coffee...Located along the highway but away from noise and busy surroundings. I love the environment inside the cafe.
