Terrific authentic Italian food in a cozy, upscale white tablecloth room. Casual or a little dressed up it is a lovely spot for a friendly gathering or special occasion.
We started with an antipasto. Excellent cheese, prosciutto, roasted fresh peppers and salami on a nice wood board was seconded by superb melt in your mouth gnocchi that was booked in butter, brown sugar and truffle. It was simply to die for.the risotto special with shrimp and scallop did not skimp on either. I shared the smoked pork ragu with rigatoni which was so rich and flavorful I could only finish a small portion of it.
All the food was excellent as was he service. The restaurant ant is a very busy place and rightfully so. Hard to find great Italian food, but we did.

- Great breakfast options ( Omelets, Biscuits and Gravy is what we had)
- Friendly Staff
- Wait times can be long (15min to 20min despite it being 10am)
- Parking can be a challenge too as its in a residential neighbourhood - but if you drive around long enough, you can find a spot.
- Definitely check it out if in San Matteo

Everything is delicious and freshly made to order with deep flavors and tender meat choices. My 3 favorites are: 1) Chile Verde burrito 2) Fish Taco 3) Shrimp taco. The full plates are excellent but the portions are big so bring your appetite. The staff is friendly and the salsa bar has a great selection. This is my favorite taqueria in the San Mateo area.

New England Lobster Market & Eatery is an authentic east coast seafood experience in the San Francisco area. We started in the wholesale business delivering quality seafood at a great value and took that experience to serve customers at our restaurant. Whether you're shopping at the market or grabbing a meal at the eatery, when you visit you'll discover live Maine lobsters, Dungeness crabs, mussels and more. Diners at our restaurant love the dressed lobster rolls, lobster corn chowder and crab nachos. We welcome families and can accommodate business group and parties in our space. We also serve beer, wine and champagne to complement your meal. As long-time merchants in the wholesale shellfish business, we are able to consistently delight our customers with great prices and superb products. We promise you won't find an experience like ours anywhere else in the Bay Area! Eatery Hours: 11am-9pm daily
I visited on a Friday at lunch time. The place is like a typical road side stand you see in New England. I ordered soup and salad. They are fresh and tasty but nothing spectacular. I like the setting. There are out door seatings as well. Across the Westin hotel, you can see SFO take off and landing. Will come back for their sandwich the next trip.

Pacific Catch is a comfortable West Coast Fish House bringing together local California sensibility and the spirit of island hospitality. happy hour | outside seating | dog friendly outdoor seating | full bar
Pacific Catch has several locations in Bay Area. I have visited a few times the one that is located in San Mateo. All I can say is that every visit was pleasant with enjoyable culinary experience. Keep in mind that it is a chain restaurant and sometimes you can experience it but overall impression has been always positive for me. You will find here a wide variety of seafood inspired by Pacific, including sushi rolls and Hawaiian poke bowls. The place can be crowded on weekends so make sure to book a table in advance.

We eat here regularly and this is the second year we have had Christmas Eve dinner here. They don’t take reservations and you can’t be seated until your entire party is present. The food is consistently excellent, service is great, you can’t go wrong here. They serve beer and wine. It’s a small place but they have it running like a fine tuned machine. Food comes out quickly and it’s piping hot. Very very good experiences here time and time again.

I visit this bakery every time I am in Burlingame. It has been here for many many years and as it has expanded, has got nothing but better over those years. I always take a box of fresh Danish home with me and put them in the freezer in individually wrapped baggies then pop them in the oven for a few minutes in the morning to have with my coffee. Great.

Inside the Brligame Golf Center
We were looking for a place to eat near our hotel and this appeared to have decent reviews. It’s kind of odd, attached to a driving range. The food was decent enough, but we were disappointed that there weren’t Margaritas to wash it down with. You had to go to the golf desk for a can of beer if you wanted anything alcoholic.

Progressive "Southern Indian Cuisine" inspired by recipes from home cooks to royal chefs of Indian Maharajas using freshest, finest and healthiest locally grown produce, sustainable seafood and free range poultry & meat. RASA s menu embodies an unique blend of ethnic and progressive dishes from southern coastal states. A unique marriage of organic, local ingredients with southern Indian spices and artisanal techniques.
For a Michelin starred restaurant, I was expecting so much more. This was a nice enough restaurant, with interesting dishes and well prepared food. Service was Ok, but not great. Go here and enjoy the food. Just don't go there expecting exceptional food and an exceptional restaurant experience. Fortunately the prices are not overly expensive, so not too painful for just an ordinary neighborhood restaurant.
