Bunnik ( pronunciation (help·info)) is a municipality and a village in the Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht. The recorded history of the village dates back nearly 2000 years, when the Romans constructed a fort at Fectio (now Vechten) with a harbour facing the river Rhine, which marked the border of the Roman Empire. The fort developed into a thriving trading centre, which continued to exist after the Romans abandoned the fort in the fourth century. Subsequently, the area was occupied by the Frisians and the Franks. In the 8th and 9th century the villages of Bunninchem (Bunnik), Lodichem (Odijk) en Wercundia (Werkhoven) developed.

Fun Dutch pancake restaurant in a rustic fun farmhouse type setting. One should eat outdoors on the patio in good weather but indoor Seating can be reserved. Amazing variety of pancakes ranging from sweet fruity concoctions to omelette-like, pizza-ish and other flavors, all in a single plate sized pancake. There are half and half choices like a pizza. I had half apple/raisin and bacon/cheese - tasty! The pancakes are more like crepes than American flapjacks so are lighter and less volume although still a good sized meal. There are apparently other excellent entrees but this is a place for pancakes. There are English menus upon request. Good service, and groups not a problem.

When we walked in we thought about going to a different place since the place was packed (company drinks for Christmas) but we're glad we decided to stay ! Despite the totally full restaurant the service was excellent. Friendly and efficient waiters and the kitchen did a stunningly good job ! Tasteful and delicious food, fair price. Truly impressed by this staff performance. We will be back we can definitely recommend this place !

It was a warm evening that took us to the large Terrace of the Hermitage. The personnel received us cheerfully and for the rest of the dinner was very dedicated and helpfull. We started with six excellent oysters (creuses) and followed with a tournedos and canette respectively. I can only the latter one: excellent. The accompanying french fries were well done. The Hermitage is not a Michelin-star restaurant although it is mentioned in the guide. It does however offer very good dishes in a relaxing atmosphere for a reasonable price and for that reason is my preferred restaurant in Zeist

Wow, this restaurant - from the inside - truly gives you the impression of being in Indonesia! Everything breaths the tropics.
They offer 2 completly different dining options; the Chef's menu (quality food with an Indonesian touch) or the Indonesian rijsttafel that you would expect from an Indonesian restaurant. We went for the Rijsttafel Bandung; perfect food but way too much. That was a pity. This was also due to the fact that the starter was a full meal on its own.
The service was good and welcoming when we arrived, but lacking when we wanted to pay. Small point to improve.
Others mentioned it as well; the location is really NOT where you would expect the restaurant to be; in the middle of an ugli residential area.
Should you be staying in or around Zeist; go and check this place out yourself!!

The weather was just too nice to pass up the opportunity to try this place. All outdoor tables were occupied, but as I was alone they managed to find a place for me. (First points.)
Chef's choice (Peter Jobse) menu, reasonably priced, paired with two wines, interesting description - I couldn't resist.
"Amuse bouche" dish of baked bread / crackers accompanied by a foamed butter. Very nice.
Each dish was well balanced, obviously the result of research, trial and effort. Very impressive.
The service was good, especially given the fact that I was 'in excess' of their booking capacity.
The wine pairings were well matched to the dishes.
Overall a very pleasant surprise, an excellent dinner at a reasonable price.

We had lunch here in September 2016.
It is a beautiful location although it was a little tricky to find as it wasn't that well signposted.
We had the surprise 3 course lunch option. Every course was beautifully presented, with exceptional flavours. The matching wines were really well chosen too.
Highly recommend.

I love good Italian restaurants, especially if situated in my hometown ? San Siro offers high-class Italian food (no pizza) and a very nice atmosphere. Can recommend it to anyone who likes a good night out.

Inspired by the French concept of "Table d'hotes", we serve a different five course menu for our guests, every day. In C'est Ca we always make use of organic meat, MSC certified fish and only purchase fresh seasonal produce for our daily changing dishes. We don't have complicated menus to choose from, but offer a delicious high quality 5 course meal for all to enjoy. Our chef combines the finest seasonal ingredients, to create a delicious French meal, consisting of a starter, a soup, a main course, a cheese platter and a sweet dessert. All homemade of course, to give our guests the ultimate homely feeling you can experience in a foreign restaurant.
Absolutely loved this experience! They were full but was able to sit us quickly. Our two waitresses were extremely friendly. This restaurant has a surprise menu but they are very attentive to your dietary restrictions. Service was quite slow but the food made up for it, best meal I've ever had!

Central location with nice Terrace. Simple but solid dishes, but nothing fancy. Efficient and friendly service. Gambas could have had a bit more bite and Tuna steak was a little overcooked. Generous portions. House malbec a bit on the bland side.
