105 N Maple St Buffalo, MO 65622 (417) 345-5045
Stopped here for lunch on the way to Lake of the Ozarks. We ordered from the lunch menu. 1/2 & 1/2 sandwich and salad. Service was very quick at all stages. Food was fresh and tasty. If you like blue cheese dressing, theirs is excellent with large chunks of cheese. Will likely stop here again on our return home.

My family and I ate at this DQ on our first trip to Buffalo. We frequent this place often, and without a doubt the staff here are top-shelf folks. They worker are always kind, always quick, and always sincere. The management keeps the staff moving and well behaved.
It is a credit to ownership and an asset to Dairy Queen as a company to have a business like the one in Buffalo. I have eaten at many DQ's but there is not one like the Buffalo DQ in regards to staff, cleanliness, overall service.
I know some people try to avoid fast food on vacations, but if you are traveling through Buffalo, Mo and you want to have service that is reliable, then you need to eat at the Buffalo DQ. It is a pleasure to recommend this restaurant.

I wanted a quick lunch, and this was near the highway. I've had better food in Buffalo. The place was understaffed--waitresses working hard, but service/food slow. They may do a better job with breakfast. There are two rooms; the front room is non-smoking, The restroom is to the rear of the back room. My clothes smelled of smoke when I left. They are filling a local niche by allowing smoking, but most travelers will want to steer clear.

This coffee house is located on Buffalo's historic downtown Square, about a mile from Highway 65. It is worth the short detour.
I have enjoyed this place many times. They serve freshly brewed coffee and espresso drinks, but they also have sandwiches, soups, breakfast items, and sweets. They don't pre-prepare large quantities of anything, so food items are freshly made.
They have a large space in a historic storefront, with plenty of places to sit, talk, and hang out. On evenings they sometimes have live music from regional musicians.
A great local business!

Honestly, if you're like me, you will most likely get sick from their butter dipped, fry batter grease polished menu.
The food? Their sandwhiches/burgers are large, amazing and juicy, with real chicken and meats. Their fries, both curly and regular are crispy and amazing. Their milkshakes are thick, creamy and sweet.
They have a large menu, my favorites being the original thickburger and chicken fillet and the people at the drive-thru are nice.
The food however is extremely fatty and I would not recommend ordering more than a thick burger and fry unless you want to have a heart attack walking out the door. If you look up the calorie and fat content of their burgers you will be completely dumbfounded, you could gain 10 pounds in one sitting.
If you care about your health, don't bother.

We stopped for a bite and was very pleased. Good variety of sandwiches hot, with good fries, soups and other good stuff. Had to pass on the deserts but they looked really good. Even got a good selection of Beers!

Let me first say, "I love Pizza Hut Pizza." From the time I was young, it has always been my favorite. This Pizza Hut by far pushes my favorite over the top. Who knew Buffalo, Missouri would be on the map for good pizza. I will not order from any other from now on.

We found this place by a couple billboards along Hwy 65. We had the place to ourselves. Service was quick and friendly. We all had breakfast for dinner. Prices were reasonable and portions were a good size. My husband got a half order of the home plate and it was more than he could eat. We would eat here again!

The lady that served us was funny and attentive when needed. My brother had southern fried catfish and I had Cajun style. We both enjoyed it. My fish was seasoned well and flavorful and tender. It was served with potatoes any style you preferred. It also came with a side salad or soup. My salad was iceberg lettuce with a sprinkling of cheddar cheese and a little tomato. We didn't eat the small bowls of green beans that appeared to have been warmed right out of the can. My husband had a taco salad that had very little spice and flavor. Basically some meat and cheese sprinkled over iceberg lettuce. If it wasn't for the good tasting catfish and the waitress this restaurant would have received 1 star.

We had a decent dinner, though it was nothing to write home about. Our biggest disappointment was that the restaurant does not sell alcoholic drinks. We really were looking forward to having a beer with our tacos after a really long day. Alas, he had to settle for iced tea.
