A Cafe and Bakery - We're pretty up tight about serving the best espresso drinks around. Drinks or beans are available. The roasting facility is just a block away. Everything it roasted slowly at ultra-high altitude where the sugars caramelize differently and create brilliant profiles...Fair Trade and Organic Certified. Free Wi-fi. Outdoor seating. Happy people. Ridiculously good.
I love Espresso Macchiato's and try to order them wherever possible. Generally many coffee shops think I am ordering a carmel machi-garbage sugar drink so I usually just walk out because that means they have no idea what good coffee is. Saying this to give context at what a coffee snob I am. :)
My wife ordered a vanilla latte which she loved and actually drank the entire thing.
I ordered my beloved espresso macchiato which turned out great. They have good quality coffee to begin with then they made it just right!
Also staff is very friendly which is typical of the BV area.

Simple Eatery, featuring Spoon It Up. Simple food - Big Taste. Artisan Bakery, Frozen Yogurt bar, Local craft beer & local wine. Fresh soups, salads, pastas & proteins. Made from scratch with local, natural, whole ingredients for clean eating recipes....back to basics!
There are several good restaurants to enjoy lunch at there in BV, this one is certainly worth a try. We enjoyed a nice Greek Salad and shared a grilled chicken breast on a. Pretzel bun, tasty sandwich, easy enough to share. Also, make sure you try their coleslaw. Good staff, plus, they’re a bakery, so you’re able to get a loaf of bread to take home, or some scones, we got hold of some nice day old. And don’t leave without trying their carrot/coconut cake. To Die For...Enjoy, Salida1048

The Midland Stop is an espresso & gelato bar in South Main, Buena Vista, CO. We serve fine espresso drinks, homemade gelato, and light morning fare.
Stumbled upon this place looking for coffee. Discovered they make gluten and dairy crepes (stop the madness! ). And boy was it tasty. They even customized my order. My cap was delish (speaks volumes considering I am a coffee snob). Disappointed they didn't offer pastries at Midland Station though. Much better than the coffee down the road. Would have checked out the main shop but we were told it was closed.

We stopped in after eating lunch in town. By early afternoon the selection was somewhat limited, but the blueberry donuts, cookies and chocolate covered, cream filled donuts were very good. The women behind the counter was friendly and told us about the history of the bakery and about the town. It was a fun stop that I would recommend if in the Buena Vista area.

Had an hour to kill before rafting, so we grabbed a late breakfast here. It was about $50 for the four of us for coffee and pastries. Kind of high, I thought, for what we got,
Quaint, cool ambiance. Really good coffee. Just had sticker shock

Our Thai & Sushi restaurant is located in downtown Buena Vista, CO, surrounded by the beautiful Collegiate Peaks and the active Arkansas River.
We had great sushi and sale, and green tea ice cream as dessert. The service is very casual and cheery, and they all kick in to assist each other in an organized way. Next time we're going to try the curry or Thai noodles. Good food and food service....highly recommend!

Like a drive up back in the 50s and 60s, this burger joint is the bomb. In the same location for over 60+ years...must be because the food is good, especially the burgers. Oh, the fries, oh, my, they are coated with something and are delicious!!! I love that after you order they don't give you a number or ask your name...no on the bottom of your receipt is the name of a movie star from the 50s and 60s. It is cute to see a 70ish man walk up when Tab Hunter is called or Clark Gable. Watch for the smile on a grandma's face when Betty Hutton or Rita Hayward's name is called. Great fun....good food.

Stopped here on our way to Snowmass! Coffee was very flavorful and the inside of the shop was very open. Filled with many locals that were very friendly and talkative!
