All the food was fried. Very strange if you are familiar with the Italian (Tuscan) kitchen. In the room, bed was very hard, toilet was broken and shower not working anymore. Our stay doesn't give us a holiday feeling. We were alone in the building. This creates a spooky atmosphere.

The simplicity of Tuscan flavours, the perfumes of our valley can be found in the dishes of the Osteria, the youthful country restaurant, perfect for dinner with friends or a romantic date. At the Osteria every occasion is a special one.If you come once, you'll come back again....
We were recommended this restaurant by the owner of the property we had rented in the area, truth be told, 3 out of 4 of us were a little disappointed.
The choice, ambience, presentation and service were all there, it just lacked a certain "OMG" experience, however, as there are many, many very positive reviews of Osteria dei Vignaioli, on this site, I will put our experience down to a less than good night for the chef.
Unfortunately, With a good few other restaurants in the area to try, we won't be in a position to revisit and put that assumption to the test.

Nice little pizza restaurant with a family atmosphere, where the care and love for the food and the customers are the main thing. With our 100 pizzas and fish menu we can satisfy any person .....

An amazing setting with a beautiful view for a lovely meal shared by a group of 6 of us. We had a great traditional Tuscan antipasti starter, followed by delicious main courses, pizzas and pasta. The Deserts were amazing as well. All went well with a tasty house red wine!

My husband and I were married this year at an agriturismo nearby in Pergine Valderno, and so we've visited this charming restaurant several times over the past year. This is the one restaurant where everyone was excited to go back to. The food is excellent (try the pici pasta with meat sauce or ravioli with mushrooms), and for the quality and quantity, the price is very reasonable. Wholeheartedly recommend - you will not be disappointed!

Great food and service with a smile! They made us feel like "regular" customers!! And after returning a second and third time, found them to be consistently good! Besides, it very comforting to see how the place fills up each night that we went there... AND to see some of the same people dining there each time!!

What a wonderful restaurant, Luckily I found it purely by chance while googling where to have dinner when we spent a night in Montevarchi. There was no menu, we had 4 or 5 courses of the most delicious local Tuscan food. The service was attentive but not intrusive and whilst our Italian isn't in anyway fluent we managed to communicate perfectly well with the lovely patient waiting staff. As we hadn't seen a menu we had no idea what the bill would be but it was a very reasonable 80 euros for four of us including wine. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in the area.

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to in Italy. The first time we went was in 2008 and then just recently again. The Pappardelle with rabbit sauce was out of this world. Other excellent dishes we had were grilled veal, pappardelle with veal sauce, pollo alla diavola, for dessert the panna cotta con frutti di bosco was amazing.
The atmosphere is family oriented. 9 people with wine, water, antipasti. primo, secondo, and dessert came to 215 euro.
Worth every cent!

What an amazing place! Delicious, seriously delicious unpretentious Tuscan food cooked and served by Simon and his little kitchen angel! The bruschetta were to die for, the pasta delicious and the veal.... my mouth is watering at the memory. My husband is a serious tiramisu critic and he ranked it 8.5, the chocolate mousse was delicious. Perfect espressos to finish - 10 of us ate our fill and 8 had quite a lot of wine (2 drivers) and the bill was 340eu... amazing. The only 'off' is if you don't like cats.... there are a few

We were recommended to this restaurant by people who had previously stayed in our current rental .
The location is lovely with indoor and outdoor dining.
The menu has wonderful choices and is very good price-wise - and service is
friendly.
My veal carpaccio and rabbit were both delicious - and my picky partner almost raved about his risotto.
We would definitely return.
