This is my favorite coffee shop, I really enjoy going there with friends and having a great cup of Boston Stoker coffee. It us very relaxing and a great place to just sit and talk.
The owner Nick and his wife are awesome and offer nice friendly service, at a cost no higher than any other coffee shop.

Great pie. Small town diner.
This is a family run diner in Brookville Ohio.
The staff are very friendly, and the food is good. They have daily specials as well. I really like the grilled chicken chef salad.
Also they have wonderful cupcakes, which we used for my daughter wedding, and they were a big hit.

We've been ordering Sarah's for many years and have not found a mashed potato pizza that comes close to theirs. Pizza dough topped with a GENEROUS portion of creamy mashed potatoes, fresh crumbled bacon, cheese, and if you wish, onions, it's topped off with sour cream (on the side). BEST choice you'll make! If you're in the mood for a meat pizza, their pepperoni and sausage pizza is very good as well. It's a bit more pricy and they don't run family-friendly price specials, but if you want a great pizza, it's better than a cheaper version at a chain-pizza place.

While traveling we decided to try Waffle House for lunch. They seem to be everywhere and we'd never been, so pulled into the Brookville, OH Waffle House. Wow! It was wonderful; very clean, friendly, efficient staff, great food and reasonable prices; nice, clean bathrooms too. We had hamburgers, not waffles and they were very good. They didn't have fries, just hash browns, and they were excellent, fresh, not frozen and cooked just right; I'm glad they didn't offer fries. You get topping choices so I picked gravy and onions, a great choice. Their gravy was the so good! I've read mixed reviews on individual Waffle Houses, so each one might be slightly different, but the one in Brookville, OH is excellent! If you're in the area don't hesitate to give it a try.

When we travel, we try to stay away from the chain, "find them anywhere" restaurants. This little pub, far off the beaten path, met our expectations and more.
It was early, so not overly full. But the staff behind the bar was attentive, friendly - kept our glasses full. The burgers were awesome! Juicy and crammed with flavor. Four drinks, an appetizer and two burgers for under $45. You don't find that many places anymore.

I decided to have lunch here while my husband was at the Dayton Air Show. It was advertised as an "old-time diner" and it lived up to my expectations, albeit being being in a strip mall. It is a small, intimate venue, decorated as the quintessential diner other than the upholstery on the booths! The service was prompt and friendly. The menu was typical of a diner with a few German twists. My lunch was delicious and the price was RIGHT! This is a gem and I hope to see its popularity grow.

My flight from the Dayton airport was cancelled, so I grabbed a bite on my way home. I was happy to see that they were still open, even with the icy, snowy weather upon us. Service was quick & courteous, excellent!

First time here. This is a small, local family business located at a nondescript strip mall that we almost missed when we drove by. The first impression when you walk in is this is just fast food Chinese. It has no ambience and they spend no money on decorating the place. But don't be put off by first impressions. What they do have is absolutely delicious made-to-order food!
There are pictures of the dishes above the counter where you order, plus you can also look at a menu. No fountain drinks, just cans of soda or tea, as well as bottled or tap water. Most of their business is take out and a lot of people were picking up orders while we waited for ours. Kitchen is right behind the counter so you can see and hear your food cooking, sort of like an open kitchen.
We decided to eat there. A few tables were scattered about and there's actually a comfortable vibe about the place, sort of like eating at your own place but with way better food. Our food was brought to us by one of the owners served in a foil takeout container. Rice was on a paper plate and utensils are plastic. No chopsticks. Sauces are those plastic packets you get with takeout. Remember, their primary business is takeout.
We had Happy Family and Seafood Delight. Veggies were mostly fresh. Chicken, shrimp and meats were all cooked perfectly and the sauces had balanced flavor. Nothing was too salty or too sweet. And the serving size was huge, enough for some leftovers. It was probably the best Chinese food we've had to date.
Brookville is so lucky to have Great Wall. We're in the area only for a couple days driving thru but I plan to order some takeout to bring with us before we leave. This is seriously good Chinese food.

Oh my...lukewarm food, ok service, and a rush for the restroom about 30 minutes after eating here. Not again!
