Good food - would recommend sitting in bar/pub room which has great character and lots of entertaining visuals....many offerings of small plates as well as specialty cocktails besides traditional dishes. Very reasonably priced and lovely service. Great music, as well. Memorable!

Now in its 73rd year, this outdoor eatery on the Bagaduce River still has absolutely the best, freshest, sweetest fried clams I have ever eaten. And the onion rings are really good also. Pick a nice cool day with a breeze and eat yourself silly!

MarKel's Bakehouse (formerly Bah's) has been a landmark not to be missed in Castine. For over 20 years we have been well known as a unique, affordable spot to meet friends and take in the views of Castine Harbor from our deck while enjoying breakfast or lunch. Our bakehouse is known far and wide for its delicious breakfast pastries, quiche, gourmet sandwiches and casseroles, giant cookies, and amazing cakes and pies. We're also Castine's premier caterer, on or off premises, for groups from 4 to 400. The Watermark (in the downstairs of MarKel's), is MarKel's private dining room, event and catering center offering an eclectic menu with cutting edge cuisine, an extensive wine list, full bar and specialty cocktails. Available 7 days a week, The Watermark is the perfect spot to celebrate weddings, birthdays, graduations, or any special occasion. We also offer wine dinners and supper club events. Choose to sit by the wood-fired pizza oven or alfresco in the courtyard. Call for availability.

We love all of Tinder Hearth's products - breads, pizza, croissants, etc. It's a little quirky in how you can only get certain things on certain days in certain places, but that is part of it's charm!

We are closed until Dec. 5th!<br>El El Frijoles, Mexican Food is a California-Style Taqueria in a converted barn in the woods. We serve delicious mexican food made from the freshest, local and organic ingredients, in a fantastic family-friendly environment. We are open all year, but if you are coming in the off-season, you should probably call us or at least check our website/FB page to see if we are open!
A one of a kind find spot, worth the drive off beaten path. Fantastic fresh Mexican food (think fresh corn tortillas, homemade salsas....street food...not heavy big Mexican dinners) Come ready to hangout as the grounds have lots of games. It's the kind of place you want to come back to - even if it's 2 hours out of your way!

House in a fully renovated 1823 Cape in Blue Hill, Maine, Arborvine opened its doors in July of 2000. Family owned, Arborvine has consistently been offering fresh, locally sourced and thoughtfully prepared fare for nearly two decades.
This was our second visit. Everything about the meal was wonderful. Kate, our server, steered us well, and the various appetizers and entrees were amazing. Everyone of us put our forks down after the first bite and just sighed. This is such a great experience that you need to work into your season.

Tasha's Take out, Driving Range and Mini- Golf Home of the world famous blueberry Ketchup, blueberry burger and blueberry meatball sub.
Tasha's is a Fast Food / Ice Cream / Mini Golf and Driving Range kind of place. We stopped just before closing time for ice cream. I was not familiar with Gifford's Ice Cream but was impressed with the choices. They have Maine Blueberry, Moose Tracks, Deer Tracks and more with a local twist as well as the usual suspects. We all thought the ice cream was terrific. Can't comment on the food but several folks were picking up food to go, they serve burgers, salads, sandwiches including lobster rolls and such. It is not really a sit down restaurant though they have an enclosed dining room if you choose not to eat at the picnic tables. Nice spot on the hill too!

Our Downeast Dogs, ice cream cones, sundaes, rootbeer floats, and old fashioned hand scooped milkshakes will remind you of summer days when you were a kid. After enjoying our many treats be sure to visit our vintage showroom. It's there you'll find that perfect piece to complete your summer cottage or to give as a unique gift. We have searched estates, attics, and even barns, to provide a variety of antique and vintage selections for you to discover. We are located on Route One in Northport, Maine.
Delightful little antique shop by US1 with a little take out window in back. Margret's makes an excellent lobster roll for only $16 and an even better "Lazy lobster" with all the meat of a lobster in a dish with drawn better on the side for $22. Sweet fresh tasting lobster meat, Yummy! She also serves hot dogs and sweet or hot Italian sausage. Sweet lady and her husband will take your order, cook and deliver you meal to one of the many picnic tables out side and they has a nice collection of antiques as well. Always a delight to stop here going up or down the coast. Such a nice friendly couple.

Black Dinah uses sustainably grown single-origin chocolates. We combine these exquisite chocolates with locally produced ingredients we’ve gathered from a network of farms in Maine.
On a recent visit to Blue Hill, I stopped by Black Dinah. I'm not a chocolate junkie and can pass on most chocolate candy. The chocolates at the Black Dinah are truly works of art and I was convinced that the selling point was the look rather than the taste. I bought a box of the dark chocolate truffle assortment and figured I'd eat one and give the rest to my husband. I ate one and was in heaven. I have never tasted such exquisite candy in my life. I ate the whole box in two days. I'm very glad that I can order these jewels over the internet and can't wait to send them to my family & friends. For once the hype is deserved.

Fantastic food but servings way too much food to eat. I ordered a kids menu and still had to take some home. Coleslaw was fantastic. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Service was excellent.
