Brighton is a suburb in metro Detroit located in the southeast portion of Livingston County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 7,444. Brighton forms part of the South Lyon-Howell-Brighton Urban Area. It is one of two incorporated cities in Livingston County, and incorporates land that was once part of Brighton, Green Oak and Genoa townships.

It's so hard to find great "farm to table" restaurants that truly embrace the philosophy. The folks at the Wooden Spoon in Escondido not only embrace the philosophy, they could help write the book.
All their ingredients are fresh, organic, and delicious.
Although they may have sacrificed location, they make up for it with great service, wonderful dish selections, and quaint atmosphere.
I highly recommend the Wooden Spoon for your special gastronomic needs.

Our first visit. We didn't have reservations, but thank goodness we arrived at the perfect time. We were seated right away, our waitress was very good, food was served promptly, and all of it was incredibly delicious! We will definitely come back, and tell others!

Been going to La Marsa for years. Recently ordered the lamb chops and could not have been any happier. Great food and very good service.
We tried to carry out a few times but found the order and eat in the restaurant is much better. Carry out service is good but the food was typically semi warm by the time I got home. Eat at the restaurant - much better experience.

The atmosphere was that of what you would imagine a supper club was like in the 50's or 60's. I could imagine the 'Rat Pack' frequenting a restaurant like Ciao Amici's. They had a very good selection of everything from their appetizers, entrees and desserts. Our table of five thoroughly enjoyed their meal and portions were more than adequate. I felt the value was excellent, especially for the quality of the food. Salad or soup is not an extra with entrees. Excellent service was provided by very professional staff. I loved it all!

Tucked away, about 1/2 mile north-east of the I-96 Freeway ( at the place where the Spencer Road takes a short northern dog-leg onto North Old US 23) is an unassuming nice restaurant where good breakfasts and nice home style lunches can be enjoyed.
They have a menu that includes various & sundry omelets, (giant) pancakes, and French toast to die for. Reasonable prices, good service, and a never empty coffee cup.
Best breakfast in a 25 mile circle.

Wife and I are not big sushi people but tried this spot. Inside, very nicely decorated, and the spicy California roll and U of M roll we ordered were very good. Accompanied by miso soup and salad, a very nice meal. Try it if you're in the area.

Came here for breakfast before the Lions game. Service fast. Waitress was very knowledgeable! Got their special baked fresh toast. Very large portion. It was 6 inches thick and loaded with blue berries and other fruit. Also got the eggs, bacon and hash browns. Bacon was very thick but it was typical breakfast fare. Prices moderate.

Food was average. Since I was sitting at the bar, being by myself, I had to listen to staff members talking about politics. That is a major turn off to me. I did not go for a meal to have to listen to opinions from servers.

I've never tried anything there but the hibachi but it is great food with the typical great entertainment from the chefs. They always make it fun and the food is always spot on.
