Best Italian pork ribs with gnocchi. Frank the owner/chef has dazzled London with his food/ tv cooking shows and returned home to Bright to family and to concentrate on what he does best.... flavoursome Italian food... we all agreed it was a wonderful experience.. the food , atmosphere with Fountains, italian music in background, friendly staff and Frank ensuring that everything was memorable.

Several businesses in Bright seem to work on restricted hours even closing some days of the week. That's O.K but frustrating to drive into town anticipating wonderful fish and chips, only to find the place closed. We are hoping to strike it lucky one day when we visited Bright.

Food Wine Friends serves delicious meals and coffee that you will talk about with your friends. The ambience is excellent. They have tables and chairs for meals and also sofas and armchairs for coffee, conversation and the newspaper. The hosts, Bec and Dec are friendly and welcoming. They sell local produce to take home such as honey, bread and wine. If go once, you will go back again!

Dined here for a Saturday night mid-winter. Clearly a favoured bar locally or with the young hipsters w young families. Ladies thoroughly enjoyed our spring rolls. Very tasty. Blokes reckoned burgers were particularly good. Bowl of chips was ok but bit ordinary. Beverages fine!

Looking for a small quick meal, we looked at a number of cafes in Bright with nothing really looking attractive, we got to Coral Lee, walked in, walked out & then decided to stay & have a quick coffee, looking at the menu we were tempted by Thai sausage rolls, delicious. looking further into the menu we saw cake, Almond cake, very very yummy. Thank god we decided to stay all the food was delicious, the coffee was great, the service was excellent & the staff were friendly & helpful.
the afternoon ended up with most of our friends joining joining us at the cafe for Lunch & all were impressed. well worth the visit if you are in the area

I always make sure to visit the Bakery whenever I am in Bright. The staff are very friendly and patient (especially when it takes me so long to make a selection from the many great choices!) I can highly recommend the apple cake and the vegetarian pastie.

Run by cyclists for cyclists we are unashamedly laid back and easy going. Plenty of bike racks and lots of like-minded people. We are the only cafe in Bright serving Padre coffee. No smoking inside or out.
I am impressed by the number of bicycles on the balcony of this hotel. The cafe is tugged behind the hotel. They serve good coffee and good breakfast. I appreciate the curtesy extended by the owner in being so lenient with cyclists. It is located on a good part of Bright where one can walk or cycle to the restaurants, river side or cycling trails. Well done folks. Hope this helps

Being Saturday night we luckily booked as many were turned away. We shared a delicious prawn omelette and a scrumptious duck green curry. The venue was full but the service was very good, the staff pleasant and there was a good vibe around the restaurant. We will return for dinner on Monday remembering to book. Most restaurants in Bright are closed on Mondays ....
