The staff went above and beyond the call of service to myself and my team who stayed at this lovely hotel whilst we were working locally. Everyone was delightful and charming. We all so enjoyed our stay. Everything about it was fantastic. Definitely recommend it. Super atmosphere.

Had a meal with family here and really enjoyed it. The restaurant was busy but we still had excellent service. Would recommend this as a good place to have dinner and also to stay.

Visited here with family whilst staying just up the river bank. I remember coming here many years ago when I used to live not too far away and it certainly hasn't lost it's charm. Very friendly staff and incredible food that would make anyone want to return for. Will definitely be back

Green Olive Meze Restaurant offers you the freshest food in town! Authentic Turkish and Greek food, friendly service and great atmosphere...
Large car park 100m away, pleasant walk along the quay and in summer I suspect you can sit outside. As veggies eating out can be a disappointment, but not here there were plenty of choices. We had a selection of hot and cold mezzes, a mousaka and salad. All decent portions, beautifully presented and very tasty. Annoyingly I only noticed the Efes as we were leaving, but thats reason enough to go back!

Since my last visit the quality of the food has dramatically improved. Really very fresh tasting and full of flavour. I hope that the management are able to key this chef. I would suggest however that several of the waiting staff are retrained or removed as their attitude if at best neutral. Part of the success of a restaurant is the welcome you receive and the interest the staff should be positive and a bit cheerful. Ho! Hum!

A traditional family run welcoming freehold country inn, over 400 years old and still retaining much of the charm and features of a typical old british pub, locally sourced homecooked menu, specials board, local fully matured steaks and grills and a very popular Sunday lunchtime and evening carvery Families are welcome with junior menu options, highchairs available upon request, well behaved dogs welcome (fireside tables only) Great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders, cosy open log fire for the winter months and large beer garden and play area for the summer. New Wagon Wheel restaurant and function room (refurbished October 16) ideal for larger groups and private parties, buffets, weddings catered for.
It is becoming difficult to find a genuine real country pub serving honest tasty home cooked food these days. Yes, there's plenty of "Chain type" pubs with extensive menu choices, however, the vast majority of those serve freshly defrosted meals with no actual local produce...MoreThank you, it's great that you enjoyed your meals, comments, like that make it so worthwhile Opento see you again Row

I found this place via searching on trip advisor and yet again we were not disappointed! We didn’t book a table as it was a last minute decision. We got there and the lady who greeted us was really welcoming and friendly. The place was fully booked for the night but told us she might be able to sort us out something. So we were more than happy to wait (plus didn’t know where else to go) but 20 mins later we were sat down at a table. We both ordered the lamb and it was really delicious, the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was really nice. We were so happy with our decision to go there. It’s a shame we don’t live there to go again any time soon!

The food was lovely. The restaurant is very accomodating for large parties they asked for pre order for our party of 10. They have an extensive menu and specials board. They were happy to let people change their selection if required. The service for starters and drinks was very good but fell apart a bit with mains arriving without the accompanying veg etc so there was a little wait when food was getting cold. The restaurant was very busy and we were left for some time waiting for sweet orders and again for coffee/liquors etc
