In the heart of old downtown Brentwood! Charming small cafe with a bakery where all items are made in house.
My sister in law had the Greek Omelet and and I had the Relleno Omelet, both with egg beaters and fruit instead of hash browns, includes toast.
Service was prompt and friendly. Food was hot and delicious. They forgot our side order of bacon but brought it quickly when we mentioned it.
Bakery items look yummy but not on our diet plan.
Busy place but nice and homey!

Unless you are looking for a flavor specific to Baskin Robbins - why spend more when you can go to John's Ice Cream for a fraction of the price? Great ice cream - decent size scoops. Could use more seating.

My family has been going to Willys for no less than 10 years. In that time, we have never been disappointed. Even though we have left the country, we recently made it a point to visit our favorite hometown bagel shop when visiting family & friends. The bagels are the best I've ever had and the sandwiches are made with only the freshest ingredients. We have seen Willys change and update with the times and demands of their clientele but always remain consistent in quality. Willys gets my vote for the best in Brentwood - hands down!

We’ve been going here for years and always enjoyed it but have seen it go downhill with smaller, bland tasting food while the prices have soared. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Elaine, the owner and hostess smile once in all the years. If you say hello to the chefs in the open style kitchen they don’t respond. Ricky the bartender is the friendliest!!

This place was touted as the best Mexican restaurant in the area so my expectations were high. The waiter, who was very nice, brought chips and salsa. The salsa looked like it had been served to another group before us but the chips were so stale, I couldn't have eaten them even if the salsa was excellent. I ordered a taco salad which comes in a flour tortilla "bowl". The ground beef had way too much cumin and there was no salsa on the salad. The flour tortilla bowl was stale and didn't even break off, it just sort of hung limply when I tried to break off a piece. Very disappointing meal and since there really are some good places in the area, I won't waste time and money going to this one again.

Our first visit in some time and the food is still excellent! In the past service has been occasionally lacking but tonight it was very attentive. My wife and I split an order of ribeye steak oscar ($52). Very well prepared. $5 plate charge and you get accompanying vegetables for both plates. Just the right amount of food for us. The lobster bisque was very well prepared, although it could have been hotter. We finished it off splitting an order of apple crisp and ice cream. Great night out for us!

We were invited to lunch with friends and really enjoyed our lunch. Among our four orders were the Southwestern Chicken Roll-Up, Prime Rib Melt, Beef Stroganoff and the Glazed Meatloaf. Except for the meatloaf we all enjoyed our lunches very much. The food was well prepared and presented and the service was friendly. The atmosphere inside was average but had a very low noise level which was great for conversation. The booth for four was a bit on the small side which was our only complaint. If I lived in Brentwood would certainly go back again. Good variety of foods on the menu to try.

This was our favorite Chinese restaurant when my husband and I lived in Oakley. The family who owns it is friendly and accommodating. I would leave a bottle of gluten-free soy sauce there and they would make my dishes specially for me. If I tried to order something they couldn't make gluten free, Lillian would always let me know. The food was consistently delicious.

We have been dining here for years and the waitstaff and bartenders are GREAT! EXCEPT when the family (owners) are working themselves, especially Peter who is SOOO CRANKY!!! They play favorites when it comes to their friends but most often ignore even regular, long time customers who spend a lot of money. We started going on the nights they don’t work. The food has gone from n “8” to a “7” on a scale of 1 - 10 with watery pasta covering your entire plate or the same steamed and sautéed tired veggies.

Astounding evening! Went in for an early rainy Tuesday evening diner (5:45 reservation). The authentic Italian waiter approached our corner table about a minute after we were seated, right after the bus boy had asked us about our water choices, and asked, "Are you ready?"
We had not opened the menu yet. We asked if we could order a cocktail... He said, "not here, we have wine and Italian beer." He explained the bar across the breezeway with the same name has a separate business (with a full liquor license). He did not say we could go have a cocktail there and come back. We proceeded to order without any interaction from the waiter (overhearing from another waiter what the soup of the day was) and when we paused to review the wines by the glass, instead of helping us make a selection, he said, clearly annoyed by the pause in selection, "I'm going to put in your food order." We received a bowl of cauliflower soup, an oddly wet Carpaccio with excellent shaved Parmigiana Reggiano, a terrific pizza crust bread w/ evoo & vinegar, and tagliatelle bolognese that was excellent. Unfortunately, it was all more or less tossed on the table without any interaction by the runners or waiter. Meanwhile at the next two tables the waiter was putting on an elaborate show of over-the-top engagement with an eight-top and a two-top that appeared to be regulars... we felt like unwelcome intruders that were taking up the waiter's valuable time. In the end the waiter dropped a check as he was walking past without even a nod or comment. Here's the capper ... it was a check for another table for twice what our bill totaled! When we told the manager that: 1, we were given the wrong check, and 2, the service was beyond rude and barely fourth rate... he said, "Get Out, Get Out, GET OUT!" We did. And we won't be back and recommend you don't go either.
Anyone can have an off night, and certainly dropping the wrong check sometimes happens, but the staff should seek to smooth the situation, not throw a fit, and yell at a customer that received such bad service.
