Occupying one of Bradford's most beautiful architectural landmarks, The Beefeaters Restaurant strives always to deliver an exceptional dining experience befitting the legacy and grandeur of the Carnegie Library. We welcome all to savor a fine meal and drinks in a cozy atmosphere preserving the landmark's literary past.
Attended a private party at Beefeaters in the downstairs bar/dining area.
The food was buffet and was excellent! The horseradish provided for the beef was not too strong and perfect. The bartender was super friendly and did a good job keeping up with the 50+ patrons. Drinks were a bit pricey.
The atmosphere was very nice, clean. It was a bit dark, but that may have been the hosts choice.
Highly recommend this establishment when in Bradford.

On our trip from Pittsburgh to Buffalo, we stopped in Bradford looking for a place for lunch and found this little gem. The menu had something for everyone, the prices were not bad, the service was friendly, and the food was prepared wonderfully. The place has an interesting history and they will give you a tour if you ask. As the name indicates, there are a lot of baked goods and pastries that you can get there. They look awesome, though we had plenty to eat with lunch. Would recommend this place for lunch. Parking is on the side of the building or not too far away if you can't find a place there.

First reason for choosing Kabobs was our ability to walk to dinner. Great building. The food and service were very good. Would definitely go back.

This is a cute little restaurant on Main Street whose biggest downfall is that they're only open for breakfast & lunch during the week. I happened to be off work for a couple days and decided to stop in around 930am. When we arrived there were only four other diners so we had our pick of the lovely natural edge wood tables. I ordered the Eggs 117 which is just Eggs Norwegian, which is Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon instead of ham. It was delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the hollandaise was creamy and flavorful, and the salmon gave it a nice smoky undertone. It comes with a choice of one side and i chose the fresh fruit which actually did seem like it had been cut up fresh and not dished out of a pre-cut container. The waitstaff was friendly and prompt, our food came in a timely manner. Next time I have a day off during the week I will definitely go back.

We were here three years ago, and the place hasn't changed, which is a good thing. Had the hamburger steak, wife had fried chicken. Great meals at reasonable prices.

I've been craving a good buffalo chicken wrap and was so happy that I found it here! Although the waitress was just okay, the food made the overall experience really great. There is also a large variety of different beers as well. I'd recommend Rookies as a good choice for a quick lunch/dinner break or for some drinks!

After staying at a local hotel which provided inedible breakfast, we checked Trip Advisor for dining recommendations and found that Kennedy Street Cafe ranked high on the list.
We expected a 1960s-era style diner, and that's what we found - a long narrow counter with dining stools, and some tables lined up along one wall. Kind of a homey, hole in the wall establishment in serious need of updating.
Our server was fun ... kind of a wise guy (girl), conversational, interesting. The owner cooked the food behind the counter in the dining room, so we could watch.
The corned beef hash, served on a bed of home fries, was highly recommended, so I ordered it with eggs over medium and wheat toast @ $5.79. The price was very reasonable, and the food was mostly good. The hash was good, but it didn't compare to a diner at home where they make it from scratch.
I didn't like the toast. It wasn't wheat-ey enough, and it wasn't toasted enough, so it was sort of soggy. I'd ordered it dry with butter on the side, but the waitress forgot, which turned out to be a good thing because it turns out they charge $1.59 for butter !
The coffee was good @ $1.50 including unlimited refills. Hubby ordered two eggs and toast at about $5, which he said were good.
We both enjoyed the conversation, but I didn't consider the food to be excellent or very good. It was pretty average all around.
