Family introduced us to this fabulous restaurant. We were wowed by their Shrimp Scampi, Veal Parmesan, Baked Ziti and Meatballs and Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad. Our wait person was friendly and attentive. Giuseppe's is absolutely on our "must-do" list for our next visit to Lake Anna.

I tried the Boom Shrimp Wrap with lettuce, tomato and mayo added and it was heavenly! I will definitely be ordering this again. The Bruschetta appetizer was equally delicious and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating to my needs.

Stopped by on our way down the 95 corridor. Had heard good things and was not disappointed. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
Wife and I both had the bacon wrapped shrimp fajitas which were on special. Mmmmmmm great.
Bean dip and salsa with the appetizer chips was a good switch up.
Both teenage kids liked their meals. We will stop again when in the area.

Finally a delicious coffee at a reasonable price with friendly and knowledgeable baristas! Try the cold brew that releases the bitter but leaves the smooth, full taste. A great selection of coffees and specialty drinks. Scones, pumpkin and banana bread slices, and this amazing little ball of flavor called the Power Ball. It's one of the richest, healthiest, and most satisfying little $1 ball of flavor you'll find anywhere. Bags of coffee to buy here too. Welcome to Bowling Green!

The prices are reasonable, that's a plus. The food is just average. The luncheon lasagna was not warm all the way through and lacked salt and pepper, but the cheese was plentiful. The garlic knots were a little tough and, again, lacked salt and garlic flavor. The steak and cheese was good but suffered from poor quality sub roll. When you eat Italian you want to have something that is better than you could have made at home. Using that standard Pino's misses the mark.

I love subway to start, but this location is wonderful! Both the guy and girl who were working were very happy and helpful! Nothing was too much. They made recommendations and everything!! Go here! You won't be dissapointed!!

Having been greeted just as I walked through the door, I ordered a sandwich to go as well as a serving of the caprese salad. The club sandwich was huge and tasted great. I bought a bag of chips to go with it and the meal really hit the spot.
This place was formerly located across the street in a tiny little space. So nice to see that they have much more room now. A proper dining room and outdoor dining on the patio can be found here. I had visited their former location a few times and enjoyed their dishes, and this was the first time I had been to the new location.

The food at this small strip center joint was fine. They serve a basic Chinese menu. No culinary boundaries were threatened, but what they served tasted good. The décor was enough to declare the place to be a Chinese restaurant without going over the top. The service was excellent, with food being served fast and the refills coming promptly. The hostess was friendly and easy on the eyes. The prices and portions were in line with what similar restaurants of this type charge. Overall, this was a surprisingly good meal in this small town.

Part of the problem many seem to have is that they were expecting something different than what they received. The "New Yorker" has been my family's "go to" for as long as I can remember. My grandfather's family is from the area, and every time we buried someone, there was an obligatory post graveside meal. The New Yorker is where we stopped before heading home.
The New Yorker is best at the basics: Cheeseburger, fries (or onion rings), and shakes. Other meals are just fine -- perhaps not "up to snuff" for the picky eaters, but this is a southern roadside restaurant in a rural community. It's good basic food done right. On my last trip, I had the "hamburger steak, green beans, and mashed potatoes with gravy" meal. It was just perfect. A slice of lemon pie and some gawd-awful coffee finished the meal. I didn't expect freshly-ground premium roast, I expected basic "diner coffee" -- which is exactly what I received.
Bottom line? The "New Yorker" is one of those places that are fading fast from the US roadside. These are being replaced with the "sameness" -- or perhaps the "emptiness" of the creeping chain restaurants. Go to the New Yorker for the experience. I recommend the cheeseburger -- don't get "fancy."

This can either be the most amazing PH pizza you've ever had or you can get a pizza with skimpy toppings and missing toppings. There seems to be a big turnover in management here that seems to make a big difference. Employees are sometimes enthusiastic or will sometimes pretend like they don't see you sitting at the drive-thru window. I love the PH brand so we keep getting pizza here and hope for the best. It's a real treat when things are working well and I feel like that is about 75% of the time. One caveat, skip the gluten-free pizza. It needs improvement and as it cools it becomes hard as a rock.
