It was my better half’s 60th Birthday, so we took a short trip to Las Vegas to celebrate. For his dinner, we chose The Top Of Binion’s Steakhouse. We chose well!! The staff is OUTSTANDING!! We were seated at a window view that faced the strip, and we could look down to the Fremont Street Experience. Our before dinner cocktail was perfectly blended and the bread that came thereafter was moist, sourdoughy and had large chunks of salt baked in the top. DELICIOUS! The following salad and lobster bisque was top notch. Our steaks, huge baked potatoes, and seasoned green beans arrived next and they were perfectly cooked. We had very attentive service, but allowed to eat at our own pace. So relaxing and comfortable. We will be back!!

One of two Louisiana locations of this franchise.
For the money one of the best steakhouses out there! Very good staff who cook the food just right! I recommend

The restaurant looks like a fun but not overly fancy place, so I was surprised to receive 5-star service. Even though it wasn't on the menu, our server brought us Jambalaya because we were so excited to try it. Delicious! Then he recommended their bread pudding - wonderful! He was so thoughtful about waiting on us, it made us feel welcome. My fried seafood platter was fine, but I'd probably try something different next time. The rolls were my daughter's favorite and were served warm - see, another example of great service! Service brought the restaurant from a 4 to a 5 star.

We love this place. The fried mushrooms are some the the best I have ever had, and you get a large portion. My friend really liked her Diablo burger, but said it was a little large. For those hungry folks, I'm sure it is perfect. We sat at the small bar and had a good time talking to Chad, the very knowledgeable bartenter, and other guest. Drinks were great. Looking forward to the next time!

Legendary Food, Legendary Service
Our first trip to this chain We usually like to support local non-chain businesses but the cold weather and the restaurant's proximity to our hotel caused us to bend on this rule.
It was very crowded and very noisy but our server was immediately at our table and was very helpful. For those who visit from out of state, be aware that if you are ordering booze in this city you need some ID.
Food came quickly, steaks were cooked perfectly, no downside. Caesar salad was good and the bread was hot and had a slight sweet cinnamon roll taste, which was unusual. Good value.

If you are looking for a local place that is known for its seafood: this is it! This family owned restaurant may not look inviting on the outside, but once inside you will find a diverse clientele in occupations, financially, and age. I loved the oyster po-boy sandwich! It’s only a quick turn off Interstate 20 west of Shreveport. Go once- you’ll be back.

Experience sophisticated dining in our riverfront restaurant, featuring prime steak and signature seafood entrées straight from the Gulf of Mexico. Our exquisite menu is complimented with an extensive, handpicked selection of fine wines.
This is upper scale food with a higher price, but the food is superior. Highly recommend, especially if a special occasion or it's time for excellent seafood & fine steaks. Best shrimp cocktail I've ever had too.

The restaurant doesn't look spectacular from the outside but once inside you are quickly greeted by a friendly face and warm ambiance. The Bar scene was good and there was live music but not so loud that you can't have a conversation. It is also nicely stocked with top shelf liquor. Once seated the server was knowledgeable and friendly. Our group all did the Wedge salad to accompany our steaks. Wedge was tasty and the Steaks were fork tender with excellent flavor. Overall this is an excellent find in Shreveport. If you find yourself in Shreveport, I would highly recommend a visit to 2 Johns!

We ate here while staying a few days at the Horseshoe. I love Chinese food, but this was just fair for the price they charge. The setting is nice, but the food was very average. No exceptional service, nothing really above average. We were a little disappointed in the food. I might try it again, but I would have to order something else.

For someone who isn't looking for an out of the park place Joe's works. This location is spectacular, Louisiana Boardwalk with a lot to see and do. Joe's has fried, broiled, grilled and steamed seafood and for the most part it's good but if you are looking for "the place" this is probably not it. The staff if great and I love the fish shack decor. Great for families with a playground for the younguns. If you have time the Shreveport there are a lot more places for the seafood experience.
