The multi award winning Montania cafe bar restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Nestled right on the edge of the Dandenong Ranges with a cosmopolitan atmosphere and a reputation for great food, service and coffee. Our Chef brings to the table an extensive menu with a twist on classic Italian, complimented by a fantastic beverage list. In the mornings kick back with the daily paper, a creamy latte and perfectly poached eggs. What a start to the day! Best news is on weekends we refuse to penalise late risers, offering an all day breakfast menu, with 2 dining areas to choose from.
I Selected the Persian Prawns, Spiced prawns and fish pieces in a Persian curry w/ riata, grilled roti and coriander-jasmine rice. and couldnt have wished for a better meal, likewise my husband, picked a chicken dish Pan seared chicken medallions w/ prosciutto in a creamy truffle mushroom ragu w/ mashed potato, son ordered a Liguine Ragu
Slow braised beef in a tomato sage sugo, tossed w/ ribbon pasta, green peas and marinated fetta. all were hot, delicious and good sized servings.

Great Thai restaurant in Boronia/The Basin/Kilsyth, food is very authentic, extremely tasty. We started with Thai fish cakes, and for mains the sizzling stir fry of vegetables and tofu and the slow cooked lamb shank in a sweet masaman curry, the later being a highlight. This restaurant is well appointed and a BYO beer and wine, a rare find indeed and must if you enjoy authentic Thai food at a reasonable price.

Visited here with 2 friends mid week. There were several other tables already enjoying their meals when we arrived. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and apologetic that there was an issue with their Liquor License so no alcohol was allowed to be served. No big deal for us....we ordered Jasmine tea and that was lovely. Our meals were excellent and served quickly once we ordered. I'd definitely return and happy to recommend.

See below for what $40 worth of Thai gets you at this place. I was disgusted in the quantity of Thai food I received when I ordered through this place. $40 and I didn't even get an entree. Highly disappointing experience, wouldn't return, would suggest others not bother. A high priced mediocre dining experience. Their business model appears to be to rip people off once and hope they don't write bad reviews. Unfortunately for them, I'm quite happy to devote 3 minutes of my time to expose this exploitation and save others the expense of experiencing this dive. Overall, rubbish!!!!!

Hilda's is a nice little cafe, right near NQR, fruit and butcher shops, and is the ideal place to sit a whole with a coffee and a choice from the delicious home baked cakes and biscuits.
Lunch is also good, with a good choice of sandwiches, rolls, salads and soup.
Popular also for brunch. Pleasant people, so the cafe has a welcoming feel.

There's something for everyone at Zagame's Family Bistro, Bar and Entertainment facilities. Come in and enjoy the quality seasonal menu, friendly service and see why... Everybody Loves Zagame's!
Dinner on Friday was great, as always. The staff are super friendly and they are certainly geared towards the ‘family friendly’ experience. Safe and secure playground with lots to explore for the kids. A face painter also for free!! The food is great and plenty of Gluten Free options for our celiac son. Reasonable prices. Take the whole family for a great night.

The food in this restaurant is consistently good. We had the Tikka Nawabi (the chicken was a bit dry), the Lamb Korma (good), the Eggplant Potatoes (excellent) and Naans (good). The restaurant is clean and the service was good,
There is a wide choice of dishes on the menu, some of which we have tried on previous occasions, over the past twenty years. It is great to have a good Indian restaurant in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne..
