This was my first visit to this lovely restaurant. My family celebrated my mother's birthday here and we were not disappointed. The service was friendly and professional. The dining room was clean and decorated with beautiful holiday décor. The food was unbelievable. The steak melted in my mouth. The veal chop was done to perfection and the seafood could not have been fresher. Highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning again!

Classic Greek diner serving large portions of well-prepared food. I ordered a Colorado Omelette (meat & cheese lovers), which tasted very good. They bring cinnamon and sweet cheese bread to the table as an appetizer, so there's always some food leftover for take-home. Reasonable priced and good service. Full menu for lunch and dinner.
Also, in the front of the restaurant they offer lots of fresh bakery goods including their cinnamon and sweet cheese breads as well as donuts, cakes, cookies, etc..
Great choice if you are in a diner mood.

My father’s dream has now transformed into more than he ever expected. Although much has changed, much remains the same…each day you can expect to see one of our faces, adding a personal touch to traditional Italian dining, creating an intimate experience that our family has taken pride in for 30 years. To customers past and present, we thank you for sharing in our history as well as our love of food and family. To new customers, we’d like you to come see for yourself how a true italian family does dinner. Sincerly, John, Phyllis, Vincent, Cristina, Dominick, Marco and Alex Balsamo
We enjoyed our dinner at this lovely Italian restaurant. The staff was excellent, even with our baby granddaughter. They were attentive and friendly, fulfilled special food requests and made us feel welcome.
I enjoyed my dinner special, of large pasta shells stuffed with Ricotta, in a Shrimp and Pesto Sauce - with a touch of Arugula. Delicious. It was hard to select only because they had so many lovely choices on the menu, but I'm glad that I selected this special.
It is a BYOB restaurant, but they also offer bottled wine from a local winery.
I recommend this restaurant and I will return for other meals.

I am a Bagel junkie, I have 1 each morning and we buy a dozen to vacuum seal to take with us when we go on vacation. The Rye bagels they sell are better then any other local bakery. In addition they are not cheap on the seeds, many poppy seed for example at other places are barely noticeable, those at Bordentown are loaded. I assume they coat with egg whites and dip because they stay attached not falling all over while being consumed.

If you like authentic Spanish Portuguese food this is the place. The quantity and quality is outstanding. Save yourself to the Newark Ironbound section my a visit here. The catering is super with abundance of food that keeps coming. I suggest you have your next party here. They also have Flamenco dancing once a month.

We recently came here for dinner on a Friday night - the place was full. Our salads were delicious, and my husband said that the artichoke risotto was among the best he's ever tasted. I had the salmon - it was delicious, although the potatoes had more of a 'kick' than I would have preferred. My husband had the crab cakes and was very pleased. The staff is very friendly, although our service was a bit uneven; the husband of the other couple with us had to wait 3-4 minutes for his entree after our food was already on the table. Prices were reasonable and the quality of the food was excellent. Altogether, we would return.

I couldn't resist picking up some tasty treats here. I grabbed three cupcakes to take home: Strawberry chocolate, raspberry and Nutella, and key lime pie. Each was tasty and wonderful. I was very impressed by the variety on hand as well as the friendly staff. Definitely a must for any visitor to Bordentown.

A local recommended this place as I was looking for something good, but not something I could get anywhere else. This place was incredible. The food was unbelievably good and the staff was very helpful. If you go and have never heard of pizza fries you have to get them! You won't regret it.

This restaurant has an interesting selection of wood fired pizzas. My sister and I both ordered the Fig Jam pizza. It was unique, very good, and my sister's came with gluten free crust upon request. Traveling from North Carolina, we were unfamiliar with the concept of some restaurants not offering a wine list. This was the only down side to this restaurant--you cannot order a glass of wine to enjoy with your meal. We had to walk across the street, buy a bottle of wine from a different restaurant, and bring it back to our table. This seemed silly and unnecessary. Otherwise, we enjoyed the Vault very much.

Here for Sunday brunch with a friend. Very pleasant eclectic country atmosphere. Very good service. Menu was interesting. Food was quite average. Had Torta Espanol and octopus tapas, Mac & cheese with lobster and Gnocchi with chicken, sun-dried tomatoes and spinach entrées. The octopus and gnocchi were quite flavorful. All food was reheated. Some dishes way too hot - the chicken and lobster were dry. Would not return.
