We left here feeling somewhat underwhelmed. Unfortunately the upstairs Terrace was closed due to high winds so we had to eat in the main dining room. The room itself is very pleasant but obviously lacks the beautiful scenic views.
We ordered pizzas and whilst they were alright that's all that can be said for them. My ham, lardons, pizza was very bland and only became reasonable after adding lots of chilli oil, and the 4 cheeses pizza my wife had was rather short of cheese and lacked flavour.
Overall I doubt we'd return given the many other dining options in Bonnieux but that said I'm sure that when the Terrace is open it would be well worth going just for the scenic view.

Right in the middle of town. Eating on the Terrace was great and the food was of excellent quality and taste. Very good choice.

We use only fresh ingredients preference of the region and only season, we make everything on site. We are in the locavore we have been selected in the great family of the "backpacker's guide"since 2013 "lonely planet"since 2016 and "les restaurants qui font a manger"...
I brought five clients for our final evening of The French Muse Experience retreat in Provence. Everything was just perfection. Yoha's personal charm and attentiveness made us feel very welcome. We reserved a table for 3 indoors on a Friday night.
All the outside tables were reserved.
Excellent professional service throughout. It's not a Café and the service level reflects this.
We chose to have 3 courses.
I can highly recommend the spelt risotto with truffle and Parmesan shavings for starter. Absolutely delicious and not overpowering. The goats cheese and red pepper pannacotta starter was also superb. It was not in the traditional shape of a pannacotta though.
My husband and daughter opted for the slow cooked pork with spiced fig and confit vegetables. The pork just fell apart when the fork touched it. It was absolutely gorgeous. The sauce was so tasty and brought the whole dish together.
I had the scallops with tomato confit which was very tasty, but I wished I had the pork!
Pudding was the valrohna chocolate pudding with a soft centre. This too was excellent but for me it may have needed a fruit sauce/ fruit with it.
Lovely wine. Expect to pay about £80 / head 3 courses including wine and an aperitif. Highly recommended but book ahead!

Having waited a long time to be served, we were told the lunchtime fixed menu was no longer available. We then ordered lamb, which was well cooked, but much more expensive.
The service here is very slow, but the waitress is certainly friendly and has a sense of humour, once you can get her attention.
With so many other restaurants to choose from, I can think of no good reason to eat here, except when all the other restaurants are full, as we did!

We have been regular customers of this popular lunchtime venue for 5 years. The lunchtime 'formule' was legendary; efficient, simple food served professionally and with good humour,
After a change of ownership and makeover, the Terrace has been extended and looks much smarter. However the prices have risen to reflect the improvements (from 13 euros including .25cl wine, to 18 euros excluding wine).... having said that, there is now a choice of plats and the quality of the dishes is acceptable.
What is not acceptable however is the terrible service. We waited more than 45 minutes for our main course plates to be cleared, eventually giving up and leaving. The two waiters seemed overwhelmed, especially the senior (? owner) who busied around setting vacated tables whilst ignoring our table awaiting clearing and dessert.
Apologies at checkout for 'slow service' but not real hint of true regret of offer of discount for missed dessert etc.
A totally disastrous experience never to be repeated. There are far better offerings in the area, for instance just up the hills to Goult or Bonnieux.
I don't write this in haste, having spent several days reflecting but feel the feedback is badly needed otherwise the restaurant will be in serious difficulty.

The location of this hotel and restaurant is fabulous. The hosts are great, very friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant for dinner is extremely good, although we thought the breakfast poor. Only continental breakfast on offer and no fruit!
It's a shame about the rooms in the hotel, extremely poor, more like a hostel quality and very overpriced for the quality.

Stopped in on my own for a quick, late supper. Sat inside the restaurant, which is a pretty little cave: the outdoor Seating area is adjacent to a parking lot, so not much to look at. Enjoyed a charcuterie plate with wine: excellent cuisine (a real mix of sausages, confits and terrines). Good suggestions on wine. Heavily populated by American tourists: only downside. I would definitely dine here again.

I note a previous reviewer saying that the people here were rude, do it is perhaps appropriate that I can redress the balance a little.
Having done a fair amount of walking on a rather hot day, we came upon Sylvie's and asked if it was ok if we just came in for drinks. The lady we met said that we were most welcome and showed us to a Terrace table where we spent a relaxing half hour or so simply soaking up the relaxing ambience that is Bonnieux.
We didn't eat here but the menu looked to be spot on, and for those who prefer indoors to al fresco, the interior decor is rather charming - just like the lady who served us.
