My wife and I have recently been to Jamoka's Coffee Shop at their Albertville location and we've really enjoyed it. The space is cozy and ample room to bring your laptops and journal for getting work done but also very welcoming with couches and chairs to relax over a meal or dessert as well. The staff is great and brings your drinks to your table after ordering and they offer a great selection of both coffee and tea in addition to the great sweet treats.
They also provide a great lunch menu of sandwiches, soups, and salads. We are both a big fan of Jamoka's and would highly recommend it for coffee or tea as well as lunch in downtown Albertville.

I have eaten here too many times to count. Menu items are made to order. Eat in and sit at patio type tables and chairs or order to go. Cute decor and very friendly workers. The menu is displayed on a blackboard wall and there are also hand held menus to peruse. Today, I chose the salad platter and pecan cobbler. What a deal for the money and such heaping portions complete with crackers. I dare you to pass on the dessert table. I could not do it. They offer wraps, soups and salads and a variety of desserts and tea and sodas.

I can't believe how many times I drove right past this place without giving it a try; I was missing out on a treat!
The service is great! I was greeted with a smiling face the instant I walked near the counter. I ordered the chicken Torta, never having had one before.
That other restaurant that has a whopper sandwich has nothing on the size of this thing! Although, for the price, I really expected more chicken in it.
It was still delicious and I can't wait to return to try something different!
I thought it was a little bit on the pricey side for a fast-food restaurant, but that was justified by an increase in the quality of the food.

Tex-Mex on a buffet line. The service is fast and pleasant, very friendly staff. Yhe Bubba Bowl salad is my favorite, build you own from the bottom, 2 meat selections (ground beef, chicken or steak) and the regular fillings, top it off with the Jalapeno Ranch Dressing and enjoy. Prices are very reasonable.

Confession: I'm not a Mexican food fan. But if you find yourself in Boaz, AL, there aren't many choices and apparently, at least three of them are Mexican.
Los Arcos is big, clean and comfortable. Huge flat screen behind the bar if you want to watch the game, courteous waiters, cold beer, fresh guacomole - I ordered the steak fajitas and the meal was big and delicious - and cheap. It makes you wonder why other places are so expensive when this place serves excellent value for far less $$.
The only knock was the salsa. Bland and as another reviewer put it, like cold tomato sauce. Except that this stuff had texture and actually tasted freshly blended. But for all other considerations, I can do without gourmet free salsa.

A slightly below average country cafe. The hamburgers were... okay, but everything was so generic thar it felt like eating in a high school cafeteria.

The Lions Den is a wonderful family owned restaurant. The prices are great as well as the service and food. It's a must if you're in the area.

Since I gave Q's 4 *s, I have to go one less for Dale's. Sandwich here might have been a little bigger but filling was less and drier. It did have a pickle slice on it.
Location is convenient to major roads and they have a double drive up. Walk up orders also order from drive up windows. A few outside tables are nice but flies are bad; even on this not so hot day (about 81 degrees).
Only based on BBQ sandwiches, I would go to Q's.

Wow...this place came recommended and I can't say enough bad things about it.
The chicken comes from frozen patties even though the restaurant is within a couple miles of fresh chicken processors. As if that's not disgusting enough they cook the "chicken" on a modified Panini press. I'm not sure that's sufficient and definitely sure its unsanitary.
The lettuce looked about a week old and was wilting and browning. Although it did appear to come from a gigantic foodservice bag which I suppose is preferable to the chicken.
The sweet tea was quite good and I'd highly recommend getting that as they see the need to charge you for tap water here. God forbid you attempt to choke down their product without the aid of a beverage to help dilute the bacteria and decay you might regret saving that 25 cents.
Oh and don't fall for the "try OUR peanut butter cup pie". Its another mass produced piece of unidentified garbage that comes prepackaged in cardboard for your enjoyment. If you didn't make it don't call it YOURS.

This is a great place to eat. The staff is very friendly. The food is always so good. The location is very easy to get in and out. Does not matter if you want a meal or just a treat. It is always Great.
