This family-style Italian restaurant is at the South Side of Binghamton. The dining area is cozy and spacious. Service is okay. The lunch specials during weekdays are real bargains. Soup, three garlic knots and a pasta with red sauce only cost eight bucks. Portion is huge. Every thing comes as expected. Although a bit far from downtown, this place is certainly not to be missed.

Lost Dog Cafe is a 150 seat restaurant and has a full-bar and an extensive coffee, tea and dessert menu as well. Came for lunch during the Restaurant Week and instantly liked it. Interior decoration is festive and colorful. My waiter, Christopher, is polite and efficient. Service is very fast. Ordered soup (potato, bacon and onion), Tex-Mex taco salad and Oreo cookie brownie. Soup is creamy and flavorful. The taco salad is surprisingly great. Taste is terrific and portion is generous. Dessert is also good. The Restaurant Week lunch only costs twelve bucks.

I discovered Spiedies about 20 years ago and Spiedie and Rib Pit has become my favorite. I found myself driving through Binghamton on several occasions and make sure I stop there for my Spiedie fix. The regular pork and chicken are truly amazing, but if you want yours with a twist, try the Greek version. Delicious!

Amazing garlic bread...and everything else. Best part was our server’s honesty when asking about a particular dish. Love that. Homemade pastas were great. So cool that they had gluten free pasta for one of our party. Will be back next time we’re in town.

Stopped here for a business lunch the other day, it can get crowded during the week at lunchtime. Their specialty is their Chicken Parm but I got the Eggplant Parm with their meat sauce with a meat log (meatball). Food is excellent, service is great and food comes out quickly. You can buy their Marina and Spaghetti Sauce in jars there, both are great. Great place for a business lunch.

Greater Binghamton's Quintessential Steakhouse Since 1978
Food is good but not for the price. Service is better than average. First floor primarily the bar... Avoid...drinks way overpriced and one could be left with the impression that the local retirement home sponsors regular hookup nights. Go to Cortese's or Little Venice.

My wife and I always make a point to stop at Chris's Diner for either lunch or dinner when we are in Binghamton (which is usually every other month).
We have never been disappointed. Debbie, our waitress, gave us perfect service, was friendly and professional. We both ordered the chicken and biscuits lunch special. One order would have been enough to satisfy both of us, so we put the rest in the cooler to enjoy later at the motel.
The entree came with a choice of potato (french fries, mashed, or home fries) and a vegetable. It was excellent, lots of chicken, seasoned just right, not heavy handed on the salt.
Last time, I had the chicken salad sandwich and soup special; that was superb as well. Anyway, today's lunch couldn't have been any better, and the whole tab came to less than $15. Note that this is a cash only restaurant, but I did notice that there was an ATM machine. Check their hours, as they do not stay open very late. I can imagine at some point in time, my wife and I would make the hour ride from Syracuse if we got the craving!
Seriously, if you are in the area, don't miss out on a great lunch or dinner at Chris's.

Doing things just a little bit differently since 2012.
My boyfriend and I have come here several times, and the food - and beer! - have always been very good. I'm by no means a beer connoisseur (I prefer cider), but my IPA loving boyfriend enjoys their beers. If you're indecisive, or like sampling,...MoreThanks for the thoughtful review. Much appreciated!

We are confident that with the combination of a warm setting, attentive service and exceptional food, you will be a regular customer at Remlik's.
We decided to make our dinner a variety of apps, salads and entrees. We started with a few platters of sushi. Shrimp tempura and the combination platter were our favorites. The sushi is fresh and perfectly prepared. We also had the beet salad which had a delicious combination of Roasted Beets
Arugula, Smoked Blue Cheese, Almonds, Local Honey & Balsamic dressing. The Fried Calamari was served with the Sriracha Aioli. It was cooked perfectly although the pieces were rather small. Finally we completed our grazing with the lamb- a Full New Zealand Rack, Panko Encrusted with Dijon, Roasted Root Vegetables, Red Wine Reduction. Delicious and cooked to perfection (med-rare of course)! Remliks has an amazing wait staff and bartenders. They have a full bar service with a variety of wine, beer, spirits and cocktails. The ambiance of the Kilmer Building is comfortable, warm and inviting. Ornately decorated and restored 1903 building has a lot to offer.

This is on of the nicest Thai restaurants in Binghamton. The three-course Restaurant Week lunch only costs twelve dollars. The pepper shrimp is hot and crispy. The drunken noodles is tasty and aromatic. Cheesecake egg roll is an interesting dessert. Service is somehow slow.
