Amazing fine food in a wonderful environment, with nice Terrace. Quality for us, is the most important thing. More than 250 wines on the wine list.
Meal, experience, staff, ... all very good. The restaurant looks very nice too. Food is delicious. The chef himself also comes to great the guests & is open for a chat - which always is nice & makes you feel important. Staff very friendly, young but efficient & nice.

As a wedding photographer, I have seen lots of wedding venues in Belgium. This is one of the most beautiful places I was. The 17th century mansion is amazing, extremely well maintained and very romantic / cozy with candles and lights everywhere. It has wooden floors, an amazing and authentic interior that is breath-taking.
This beautiful decor is combined with a cuisine that is top-notch; food is delicious. The thing that charmed me the most is the service that is as good as perfect. Everything is amazingly well-managed, waiters and waitresses are amazingly friendly and stylish.
All of this together makes Hof ten Damme one of the best places in Belgium to throw an extremely cozy and classy party.

June 2nd lived a top culinary experience at this restaurant.
The hotel is conveniently located only a short distance from the Antwerp/Knokke highway in a semi modern building which is nicely decorated.
The chef himself came along the explain the extended menu and to inquire whether we had any problems with the menu.
We had 3 top 'appetizers' with the apéritif - one based on sardines with tomato and goat cheese - one as a variation on the 'vitello tonato' concept and one based on ox-tongue, ravioli and bouillabaise - all top preparations.
The menu itself started with a fish preparation - very nice and continued with a very nice sheep meat dish.
Then we had a top notch creative cheese platter followed by 2 very nice desserts - one based on strawberry and one based on apple - just great.
It was also great that a number of good quality wines could be ordered by the glass - which we did - and these were served in absolutely correct quantities.
We had a top experience - thanks to the chef and his team and the staff taking care of the service.

Restaurant Nest is the brand new restaurant of Hotel Beveren. The restaurant spoils you daily with fresh, regional products. You can enjoy a rich breakfast, stylish lunch or captivating dinner. Whether you are a business customer or private. Also in group you are more than welcome. In addition, we regularly work with a Live Cooking Buffet and serve trendy food sharing dishes. You can finish the evening with a delicious cocktail. You can come for breakfast: every weekday 6.30am to 10.30am, lunch: open every day, 7/7 inclusive public holidays from 12pm to 3pm and dinner: every day, 7/7 inclusive public holidays from 5pm to 10pm.
"Restaurant Nest" is a part of Hotel Beveren and was named "De Mangerie" before renovation early 2017. Must say that this is refreshing difference. Now you can have your meal in a modern environment with a (partly) open kitchen. Food is tasty and well prepared. We selected steak and mussels, meat was soft, seafood was less spicy than expected when you order Thai style. Drinks could be a little less expensive since you are in a restaurant and not a bar. All in all you get value for money in a nice atmosphere. Service was quick and convenient.

We were staying in a nearby B&B, and given a recommendation by the owner.
Kafee de Mops was a great place - friendly staff, who knew about the food they were serving, and went out of their way to make you feel welcome.
The mussels were delicious, as you expect in Belgium! Also a very nice Apple tart for dessert. Recommend for a dinner visit if in the area.

We found this place one evening as we were back late and didn't fancy the trek into Central Antwerp. Really super discovery as the food was great and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was a busy Saturday night despite the cold & snowy Janaury evening, but they didn't mind that we didn't have a reservation, or that we ordered cups of tea to start (being typically British) had a starter each then feasted on Belgian Waffles for dessert, even though it was evening and waffles should not have been available. Wonderful!

Absolutely delicious, savoury and juicy meat of highest quality. Super fresh salads that bring back recollection of how "real" vegetables taste like (forget here the usual out-of-the-plastic-sack experience)! Most charming and welcoming lady who runs the place, delivers the dishes and is taking care of everyone with such a grace! Top evening and top place! Highly recommendable and by far my favourite restaurant in Antwerp!
