Locally renowned for good food from scratch! Over 13 beer taps and 40 bottles to choose from. Come enjoy our unique fun, casual atmosphere of our outdoor pavilion and patio! There is something for everyone at Guppy's. Voted 2016 Best Overall Dining Experience (Lake Erie Living Magazine)!
This small establishment is right near our vacation home, but even if it were farther away, it would still be a frequent favorite on our list. Great variety of food and drinks, with a choice of indoor and outdoor dining both winter and summer. the heated outdoor bar is popular with winter sports enthusiasts, and it's delightful in the summer as well. Try the fried fish or Cajun chicken alfredo! fun atmosphere and great wait staff and owners!

Ashville General Store is a hometown institution. It isn't fancy, it's real. All the food is made to order from scratch. The daily soups & specials are consistently great. They have an incredible number of specialized subs. They are also willing to make a sub to your order. Pizza, wings, quesadillas, salads, fries, breakfast. You can get it all here. Don't confuse the old school vibe for "needs updated" you'll miss the point. I can't fault another reviewer for their summation of the interior or the assumption people get food to go because it is "skeezy". Everyone is entitled to their opinion even those rooted in ignorance. the truth is their to go service is popular with WORKING people, vacationers and families on the go. IF they don't serve it here, you don't need it any way!

My husband and I went here for breakfast. I have a phenomenal breakfast menu. It is family owned and operated. Go early so you get a seat...it gets really busy, but it's totally worth the wait! They do scotch egg specials at least once a month and we plan to go back and try it

Chef Burke was very easy to work with and accommodating with our two wedding meals for 30 - 40 guests. The rehearsal dinner included salmon and chicken entrees, salad, potatoes with carrot cake and gluten free mousse. The breakfast featured breakfast bars of omelettes, oatmeal, yogurt parfaits, meats and French toast. We asked the "singing chef" to sing at both meals, and he was happy to serve....just like icing on the cake! La Familia has wonderful staff and a warm atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting them again this winter as they extend their hours.

This place has to be one of my favorite ice cream places in the world. Countless flavors of soft serve (my favorite being peanut butter with chocolate sprinkles) – and it doesn't hurt that this place seems like it's run by a team of cheerleaders!

We stopped here for lunch before going to the Lucy Museum which is nearby. Great service from the owner who told us his brother and mom were in the kitchen so happy to support a local, family run business. I didn't know what to expect with Cuban food but it was great and priced better than I expected it to be. Had the chicken plate that came with rice and plantains. Enjoyed it all. You order at the counter, pay and then sit down and they deliver the food. Had cuban decor and some Desi Arnez items. Also had a slideshow playing of pictures from Cuba. We always prefer local, family run places with great food over chains so very happy we ended up here.

I like everything about this place. The drinks are great...the atmosphere is great and the breakfast/lunch fare is very popular. They have fabulous sweet treats as well. There is cozy seating, a paper to read and Wifi. I am not just a one time visitor but it's an everyday ritual. They even offer almond milk as an alternative to dairy. Try it out , you won't regret it. Check them out on facebook as well...they always show great pictures of the baked goods and specialty drinks.

The Bemus Point Inn is an Institution in the Area it has Excellent Breakfast and Lunch fair and they are known for their HUGE cinnamon rolls the slogan is "Where you can wake up with the sweetest Buns in town"
Stopped at 9:30 for a late breakfast. The place was packed, always a great sign. Upon entering we discovered the place was really hopping! We found an unoccupied table, sat down and were immediately greeted by a very cheerful waitress. Menus delivered, drink order taken. After she left we were asked by both of the other waitresses if we wanted to order drinks. It was clear that they all worked the entire dining room together, covering each other's backs. The wait staff sailed through the dining room cleaning tables, taking orders, delivering food, refilling drinks. Awesome! Our food was delivered in short order. We each ordered omelets. The arrived hot and perfectly cooked. Our drinks were never empty, and each member of the team stopped at our table to make sure we had everything we needed. Outstanding service, great food, reasonably priced! Best breakfast I've had on our whole trip!

I ordered pasta carbonara, which all Italian restaurants don't do very well. I am of Italian heritage, Love to cook, have worked part time for almost nine years for Williams-Sonoma. The Carbonara that I was served was wonderful, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Italian food
