Full Service French Inspired Bistro. Serving Cuisine inspired by the season. Proudly sourcing local ingredients and minimally manipulating them to allow them to shine as they are.
My wife and I stopped here on our way to Vermont. My wife had fond memories from a visit a few years ago and wanted to go back. Neither of us was disappointed. I had an omelette and salad and she had a croque monsieur with pommes frites. Both were excellent. As was the desert - chocolate, of course. (In case you don't know, the restaurant adjoins the originals Burdick's chocolate store. You can also eat in the chocolate store, which is more casual.) If you happen to be in the area, this is definitely worth a stop for lunch or dinner.

This was our first time here. There is the Pub and the Outdoor Garden; we ate in the dining room which is white tablecloths in a pleasant, relaxed setting. My wife said the duck was among the best she has ever had, fresh, not gamy, not dry, really just perfect. I had the filet mignon which was very good but not quite excellent. Had this been just a little better I would have given this place five stars overall - it is clearly five stars for the duck.
I had a puff pastry with ice cream and chocolate sauce for dessert which was really grand. The bill for two of us without tip and one glass of wine was a hundred bucks and change.
The service was quick and attentive. This is one of the nicest restaurants in the area. We will be back!

We visited Leslie's on a cool November Sunday night. We had called for reservations, as it is not a huge place. We had a pear salad that was delicious. For main meal, we had melt in your mouth filet mignon, done perfectly. It came with...MoreI don’t often get time to respond and in most cases thank our reviewers! I absolutely love the soft serve selections and multitude of options offered here. So much so that I decided to consider trying the non-ice cream-related foods on their menu, which was pretty diverse and appealing. I quickly learned that you have to be careful what you order and eat here... the hamburgers are cheap, tiny, pre-made patties and are not filling. The corn dog I got looked and smelled spoiled/rotten (thank god I bit the corn meal off to check the hot dog before biting it). Can't speak to the rest of the food, but I'm pretty nervous to go outside their ice cream menu now.

Nothing better anywhere!! If you love ice cream you will LOVE theirs. I am not a big ice cream lover but this IS the best around.

Popolo serves Italian-inspired farm-to-table cuisine in a casual setting at the Windham Hotel in Bellows Falls. We work to create a varied, affordable menu using mostly locally-sourced ingredients and an exciting drink and wine list. We also promote a wide variety of events including concerts, movies, and parties. The menu of food and conversation is ever-changing as Chef John-Michael Maciejewski's untethered imagination presents dining specials almost every day and night.
Another wonderful meal here on a quiet Thursday night. The blue cheese salad was fresh and delicious. I had the large 'simple' i.e. four cheese pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms, really an interesting cheese taste, tangy and complex (I realize this sounds like a wine review) much more interesting and tasty than a standard pizza. My wife had the risotto special which was grand and a glass of the sangria. I had a soda and we both had coffee. The bill for all of this was 80.02 including the Living Wage Adjustment.
Our friend had the hamburger, it was really large with a large side of fries.
I ended up only eating 5/8ths of the pizza and my friend had the entire burger but could only have about half the fries. We both have hearty appetites so be advised if you have a light appetite and order either of these entrees you will be taking some home.
The service was prompt, professional and attentive.
This is a great restaurant for when you want a very tasty meal at reasonable prices.

There is no drive thru so you have to go into the store to access it. The donuts are great in the early morning only.

Well, this IS a Dunkin' Donuts, so the food, coffee, etc. are cookie-cutter consistent with ever other Dunkin. About the only thing that makes one better than another is the service, and here it can be very spotty indeed. Too often I've popped in and found that the staff are more interested in arguing with each other, or catching up on the news with friends, and not on keeping the line moving and meeting cutomer needs. There's a Dunkin in nearby Bellows Falls, and another embedded in a large gas station complex just north of Walpole, NH. Both offer better, happier, more customer-oriented service.

This farm stand sells excellent local produce, and also includes a cafe for breakfast and lunch. The home baked goods are delicious - especially the chocolate chip-cranberry oatmeal cookies. The tomatoes, squash, and radishes were excellent. We also like their homemade salsa and bought some jars as gifts. Friendly service.
