If you like pizza you must try Papa Vitos in downtown Belleville, IL. The sauce if one of a kind. Plus the ingredients are extremely fresh and tasty. Do your self a favor and buy a bottle of their Italian salad dressing.

We are a full service homemade ice cream and restaurant. We have won many awards for all of our ice cream creations. A must is to try our Award winning COTTAGE BURGERS.
After church Sunday evening being new in the area I looked for ice cream near us. This was closest place. It had good reviews so we went. They have walk up windows outside with seating and order counter with seating inside. Great selection of ice cream from what I understood is homemade. They are very friendly and very clean place. Ice cream was good. We sat inside so we saw several orders of food go by our table which looked good also (will have to give it a try another day) only thing I saw as a down side was lack of parking. We will be back :)

“World-class BBQ. James Beard-level good.” — Cheryl Baehr, Restaurant Critic - Riverfront Times “BEAST... isn't following the trends, but helping to raise the standards.” — Ian Froeb, Restaurant Critic - St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Fantastically amazing BBQ! Looking for something that’s not the norm? This is the place. Duroc pork, Wagyu brisket. You’ve never had BBQ like this. This was my first visit and I can’t wait to make it back again! Hell, the Brussel sprouts were out of this world! Keep up the great work Beast!

10th Street Bakery now offers food and drinks in the evening. It is small and has a limited menu, but the food is wonderful. My husband had the clam chowder and Cuban sandwich and I had the spicy shrimp tacos and we shared some cheesecake. Everything was delicious. A great addition to the Belleville restaurant scene.

Ordered hot wings. They were excellent! Ordered philly cheese steak, loaded with meat. And the greek chicken sandwich was so flavorful. Their fries were great too. Good experience. We will go back.

The restaurant itself is cute.
I was staying in Belleville for the night and was walking the downtown area and wanted to get some dinner. When I'm in an unfamiliar area I chose establishments that are busy because that usually tells me they are good.
I was greeted pleasantly and taken to my table. That's where the good service ended. My waitress was very unattentive.
I ordered the meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes and it came with a side salad. The salad was awesome but my meal was awful aside from the potatoes which were average.
I got two very small and thin pieces of meatloaf that would hardly constitute as an appetizer. For as thin as it was it was cold in the center. I got a small piece of hard bread that was burned on the bottom.
This was a terrible experience all around and even if my server (I had three different ones) was good this meal was very subpar.
Their food is very high priced and for an incredibly small amount.
Was upset me most is my main waitress was really sweet to her other table but largely ignored me. I never got my drink refilled and she was not around for me to ask, but she was very attentive to her other table.
I don't know if it was because I was there alone or she assumed I was not going to leave a good tip (I'm an extremely good tipper) but I was made to feel like I shouldn't be there.
I spent way more money than I should have at this place to have to go and buy food at a convenience store.
Bad service and very subpar food for the price.
If you are eating out by yourself I would avoid this establishment.
I would have sent my food back but no one would acknowledge me for that to happen.

This was our lunch stop after the Belleville Christmas Walk. It was a perfect, warm lunch to comfort us after the cold. The BBQ is always fabulous and so are the sides. I usually get the Pulled Pork and my friend gets ribs. Both were tender and delicious. The new favorite side for both of us is the Sweet Corn Bites. The waitresses here are always friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return!

Our group of 4 went early on a Saturday night. Plenty of parking and the restaurant looks very well maintained. While crowded we were seated within 5 minutes. Service: Our server Ryan was really good. Appetizers: we had the nachos which was very large and everyone enjoyed. Entrees: Steak - very good, Pasta - very good, Chicken tenders, - very good, pizza - average. Overall we had a good time and would visit again

Immediate and friendly greeting. Clean and bright inside.
My mother ordered all sauces on the side, due to some sensitivities and they accommodated without question and without seeming inconvenienced.
Excellent service continued throughout the meal, with cups filled frequently and periodic check ins. The playfulness of the gal taking care of us was much appreciated - and encourages us to want to go back.
The food was cooked well, one person (table of 4) said that they thought their dish could use salt. Everyone else found their dishes well seasoned. I, personally, feel that adding salt at the table if you feel so inclined, (or hot sauce), is better than getting a salty dish (or otherwise customizable dish that is too hot/not hot enough)- so, I appreciated not needing a gallon of water to recoup from a pound of salt (& being able to kick the heat up a notch) - as always, I wanted more cilantro.
Margarita was good, but not great. It was large, and reasonably priced - I've had better, but probably not at that price point... premium liquor isn't expected to be used in a happy hour drink, though for the size of it, maybe another shot wouldn't hurt.
Husband was happy to see dos equis on tap.
Everyone else had water.
No sticker shock - all prices were reasonable and there was plent of food to take home.
I recommend getting a side of guacamole (extra) to go with the free chips and salsa.
There is a kid's menu, but since the youngest person was 43yrs old, we didn't order from it.
