This restaurant was in walking distance from our hotel. One of the hotel staff reccomended that we try it out for dinner. Great reccomendation. We walked In without a reservation. The place was very crowded. We were lucky that the hostess was accommodating and was able to find us a table by the bar. Our waitress introduced herself and took our drink orders and had warm bread brought to our table. We ordered Bacon Wrapped Scallops for our appetizer, and a 10oz, and a 8oz Filet Mignon with a side of Au Gratin Potatoes. Our steaks were cooked a perfect medium rare as we requested, and tasted great. The Au Gratin Potatoes were great as well. We really enjoyed our dinning experience. From our waitress and the staffs great service, drinks, appetizer, entrees, and side dish. We are only sorry that we didn't get a chance to dine here again before we left to go home. FYI I would recommend making a reservation. This restaurants understandably gets very crowded quick.

Explore the rich culinary traditions of Spain and France at this cozy, neighborhood bistro located in Bellaire.
What a lovely place Beautiful decor. Delicious Spanish menu. Friendly service. Not a table open all night. This is for people in the know.

Easy to miss - it's located between the donut shop and Bank of Texas drive-through plaza in Bellaire. It's been there more than 30 years and hasn't changed a bit - get "The Bellaire Special", two quarter pound patties broiled over open flame, topped with a handful of grated cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, mustard, mayo, on a toasted bun.
I always toss the unripened tomato slices.
Add a half order of krinkle-cut fries, onion rings and a Diet Coke. They sell beer but few people ever order it. Small TV always tuned to some sports program with no sound. Crowd is a mix of locals, young and old.
Stick with the burger and you'll never want to go anywhere else for one.
Interior is always clean, as are the tiny restrooms.
Parking may be limited during lunchtime.

Auntie Pasto's is a neighborhood trattoria. Unpretentious, modest in its decor and informal in service. Very family friendly, it caters to families with children. most of the time, the place is full, especially for early dinner. Service is informal, friendly, unsophisticated but eager. The list of appetizers is classic and outstanding. The Calamari Steak is the best in town. The sauteed mushrooms are delicious as are the Mussels. Bread is fresh and served with a garlicky, slightly spicy oil that is wonderful. All the pasta dishes are well-prepared and tasty: very large portions, and sufficient to be shared by two adults. Wines are well-priced. Desserts are basic, but popular with the kids.

After going to Fogo and Chama since their respected openings years ago, I have to say now Chama is taking over the crown of best Brazilian steakhouse in Houston.
The quality of steak and service at Chama continued to improve, as well as the renovated interior, has surpassed that of Fogo.
The manager Eric at Chama always remember us by name, and his staffs show the proper training by catering to our every needs each and every time. You get the personal touch that you don't get at corporate places like Fogo and TdB.
Also, the restaurant layout feels more spacious than others, tables have more room between each other, so you don't bump into patrons everytime.

Located in a small strip center on the Southwest corner of Rice and Bellaire is a refreshing Thai restaurant. Ample free parking in front and back. Menu simple but varied. Delightful fresh flavors with all the proteins available including Kobe beef hamburgers. Great mango iced tea. Unusual and large selection of desserts unusual for an Asian eatery. Very polite and professional service.

A good old fashioned burger with a side of union rings. Down home comfort food. Can't complain a bit run. Down but the focus is the food.

When the family wanted to get together we thought about going to an Italian restaurant. However we wanted a place where we feel comfortable and there is variety... so the answer was simple let’s meet at Fogo.... we had not seen each other for months and the atmosphere at Fogo was just what we needed to catch up... thanks to Chris Casillas for being so attentive to all our needs... allergies and all were taking care of and we enjoyed our food without concern. We will be back!!!

If it tastes good you'll find it here. Fantastic fresh seafood department with extremely knowledgeable staff, massive fresh fruit and vegetable section with great produce, and a bakery that can compete with any independent artisanal bakery. And the prepared foods are excellent as well, as are the olives, store-made hummus and other delicacies. More chocolates to choose from than probably any other store in the city. Employees are invariably friendly and helpful. What they don't have are many of the mainstream brands and processed foods that we're used to buying in a supermarket, so if that's what you're looking for this isn't the place.

We yesterday had a Business Dinner in the Wine Room. Jessica made an excellent job and treated us as really good friends and valuable guests!
The meat „Porcini rubbed Bone-in Ribeye“ was really delicious. The 15yr old Balsamico made it be a great experience.
Starters (Steak Tartare, Crab cake & Tuna) were a good selection as well as the Hot Chocolate cake as dessert.
Offering mouth water in the Restroom is a nice detail.
A really great evening!
