Beit She'an (help·info) (Hebrew: בֵּית שְׁאָן Beth Šəān; Arabic: بيسان, Beesān (help·info), Beisan or Bisan), is a city in the Northern District of Israel which has played historically an important role due to its geographical location, at the junction of the Jordan River Valley and the Jezreel Valley. It has also played an important role in modern times, acting as the regional center of the villages in the Beit She'an Valley.

Great food, excellent value, very clean with lovely service. We went there for lunch and had a wonderful meal, the portions were enormous and no sooner had we finished one of our starter salads they instantly replaced it with a new one.

A countryside restaurant situated in beautiful Gan Hashlosha, a national park next to Mount Gilboa. The restaurant overlooks warm, flowing springs which remain at a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius throughout the year, natural Waterfalls, and rich vegetation.
excelent stakes worthwhile going hungry so that there will be plenty of room for the side dishes(salads)

We were looking for a restaurant open Saturday in the Beit She'an region.
Dag Dagan was only ten minutes distance & I had been there in the past.
The service was good & staff knowledgeable regarding the menu.
I was spoilt for choice regarding the many types of quality fish dishes on the menu.
The food was garnished nicely when served & waiting time was good.
All four diners were happy with all our choices both entree & main meals. Portions were generous & the food tasty.
Prices are on the high side of average. Many restaurants charge similar prices, but compared to two other restaurants in the vicinity they are more average than those other restaurants.
The restaurant was busy but the pleasant ambience was maintained & the whole experience was enjoyable.
I would recommend this restaurant.

Mekomi is a local deli at The Center for Health and Community at Kibbutz Neve-Eitan. We make healthy natural meals, with fresh and mostly organic ingredients. We are not always available, so arrangments for meals need to be set in advance. But you can always come in for some local legumes, dates, wine, almonds and home made spreads.
Special little deli with a shop for local products, food, cosmetics and crafts Run by Dr. Uri Mayer-Chissick (Ph.D) who is a historian of nutrition and medicine in the Levant. Great for people who like to feel close to the locals and try new things

We ate at Bella about a year ago. The food and service were very good. Today, we had lunch there and it was excellent. We tried fish, seafood, meat, and pasta dishes and each one was so tasty and aesthetically presented.
The service was excellent -- the waiters and the kitchen. We were not hurried, but we did not have to wait overly long, either. This was most appreciated, since most of the dinners were families (lunch on a weekend).
We highly recommend this restaurant!

Amazing food and decent service, lots of choice on the menu and in hindsight 4 meals would have been plenty for the 6 of us.
Nice high ceiling restaurant with lots of space around the tables and very large outdoor dining area. The BIG plus was its in a retail park and right in front of the restaurant is a great outdoor play are which had i let my kids could've stayed all day!
Had a great meal and leftovers packed for us to takeaway.

A short visit to Beit She'an gave us an opportunity to visit this nice little place which serves dairy dishes, breakfast style. Cold water was served to the table before we ordered, which is laudable, considering that Beit She'an is one of warmest places in Israel.
You can choose a full breakfast or order sandwiches with side salad, big salads and Shakshouka. The coffee was good, and so were the Sandwich and Shakshouka we ordered. We finished with a lemon pie which was also tastful.
Prices are comparable to similar establishments in more central locations in the country which is a bit on the highside given the location of Beit She'an.

Good or even reasonable cafe's are as rare as hen's teeth at this rather hot neck of the woods (up to 42 degrees in summer), hence recommending one is not to be taken lightly. This well placed and relatively old place was recently renovated, but more importantly, the staff had been re-trained and new staff was hired to give the diner a friendly experince which is also tasty. Si Cafe at Beit HaShita had been my 'local cafe' for many years but the new owners have taken it to new levels. The food is made on the premises, the bar-staff make a mean coffee (that is, very, very good) and the owners are there most of the time to solve unexpected challenges. Try the couscous with antipasti as a snack (small, but enough for one not-so hungry diner) or for main course. Also recommended are the carrot-cake and coffee combo. Shakshouka and the sandwiches are fresh and tasty and the fancier cakes look fabulous although I didn't try. If you are lucky, hot air baloons hovers or even lands nearby, and so are super-light aircrafts. It is, indeed, a nice place to stop .
