First time I have been here and I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The food was excellent with everyone enjoying their choices. There are options for diners who are dairy and gluten intolerant which was great. The jugs of sangria went down a treat and...MoreThanks , glad you had a good time. Would be lovely to see you again. We tend to drop in on the way from the Gold Coast to Brisbane as it’s so easy to do so.
It has a two lane drive through for takeaway which can still have 4-5 car long queues on weekends.
Some interesting flavours - a great variety in fact.
We remember the pies tasting better but they are good. I don’t rave about it as I did 20 years ago but it’s worth a try if you haven’t.

We ordered the Eggs Benedict which was great!! The food was a large portion at a decent price. The environment wasn't the best. Quite unprofessional & seemed dirty. Staff on their breaks in the cafe while 1 girl wasnt offered her break but was doing all of the work on her own! Staff on their phones! Very grubby and casual staff. Wouldn't go back!!

We dined in and were greeted by friendly staff who checked on us throughout dining experience. We chose to have a couple of chefs specialities. These were magnificent. I would certainly recommend their Goat Saag, and the Goan Fish curry is to die for. We will definitely be coming back

I took part in a cooking class at the restaurant and was amazed with the freshness of the ingredients used. The preparation process from scratch shows the passion that goes into the food. Lets just say the finished product was yummy.Hi Christian P, thank you for your sincere review, your Sunshine Protein Balls were sensational, thanks again.

Given its location, I really wanted to like this place. Among bustling James street, surrounded by beautiful boutiques and other high quality hospitality establishments but Chowhouse leaves you wanting. Ordered 7 meals for our table and a few cocktails, 1 person was happy with their meal. The satay sauce needs work, dry, paaty and overwhelming with peanut taste. Poached eggs were over cooked. Had a dirty Martini which tasted like a jar of olive juice, mojito needs to have some sort of sweetener for its soda water base so ask for some sweetness if you order this. Service was passable but not attentive or personable.

After looking up where to pull off the highway for breakfast we headed to Cafe Edge. A friendly greeting.. Lovely ambience indoors and outside. It's always good to see something other than the standard options for breakfast. We both chose the vegetarian. Great flavours with poached eggs, wilted spinach, mushrooms and an interesting relish all served on toast. The cafe supports local people and is not for profit... Very impressed. Please make the effort to visit Cafe Edge

Set in the foyer of an office building, the coffee is good, snacks are lovely and the venue is quiet

After recently moving to the area we have been trying out the local takeaway restaurants as you do in a new place and we were pleasantly surprised. This place has Chinese, Thai, Malaysian, Singaporean, Fish & Chips and Noodles! 6 Cuisines in one handy location and the prices are very reasonable. The only negative we found was at times they are a bit skimpy on their meats so we order double chicken for only $1 and its full and tasty. We now go here at least once every 2 weeks and can recommend to anyone. The staff speak english well and are very friendly.
