The place is pretty much cozy and need. However, its pretty dark, the atmosphere is pretty much above average. Where you can choose either to sit on the floor or on the chair just like usual. The food isn't suit my taste though. Much prefer other place. The fish has some raw taste. Either its serve that way or its really not well cook yet.

Flies, flies everywhere... Looks like this place doesn't clean well, we really get disturbed with the flies... Service was slow, and even though there are many flies the waiters don't have initiative to do something about that...
Food wise was okay, some were good but others just average...

Food taste is so so. The entrance staff did not give receipt for additional person charges for my dinner, and it was happened again for breakfast. I asked for the receipt and she obviously looked not quite happy. Most resto staffs looked not giving their heart to their jobs. This was 180 degree difference with hotel's staffs. The only positive of the resto was the unique ambience.

The place is not too big in space and the food choices are mostly East Java styles from beef rendang, babat, empal, rawon & bali cooked styles, pecel etc. are prepared so guests could choose which one to pick.
The location is about 700-1,000 meters away before entering the city circle of Batu (alun-alun kota).
The price is moderate and the owner is senior but still aware being the cashier as many oldies places are maintained and guided by the owner directly.

This restaurant provides a nice eating place where one can sit or regular tables and chairs, and also cross legged in pavilions on a platform with low height tables. About 16 such pavilions are built around a water pond that has a large number of fish. Menu is simple and limited to popular items in Indonesian cuisine. We ordered fried Gourami (a flat fish native of South East Asia), vegetable soup, spinach, steamed rice and Nasi Gorang (fried rice topped with an egg ommlette), along with lemon tea and lemon squash. Items were good and price reasonable as we paid IDR 180,000 for lunch for 4 people. Place was very clean and service was efficient. This is a good lunch place for people driving to Batu from Surabaya,

Rujak cingur tasted delicious with the price of 30K. Be careful with the fried rice tasted very hot
Es campur was fresh with price of 15K, ice ice soda as well as excitement. Nasi pecel less tasty
Dining room is quite spacious and clean. Prices are comparable to taste
Flamboyan restaurant is in Sudirman street 84 . Pesanggrahan. Batu. Phone number 0341 591 551

The milk tastes really fresh. Especially when served cold. There are variety of flavor. Also available fresh milk or pasteurized milk. There are also few flavor of yogurt and other drinks like ginger or another traditional beverages. Better come in the morning or after lunch time, to avoid long queue of customer.

Nasi Pecel is my favourite in this Warung. Many times I visited Batu, mostly I took Nasi Pecel as my first option. The peanuts sambal has medium pungency and not so sweet. Rawon (brown beef soup) also available in this Warung

When in Batu, be sure to stop by and enjoy this local treat.
This joint is always packed, so be mentally ready for a long queue.
I recommend to stay with the basic traditional toppings: coconut, soy powder, palm sugar.. Very delightful
Portions are small, but rich in taste.. Must try!
