We just happened upon PALACE PIZZA and found it to be quaint and charming. It's on a corner with beautiful Christmas paintings on the windows. Inside is brick walls with your eyes going right to the pizza at the counter. The aroma will draw you in!
We ordered a cheese pie with half pepperoni. You know me.....I am VERY PICKY about my pizza. Well, I felt like a secret food critic like on "MYSTIC PIZZA ". I give their pizza 5 STARS. It was delicious! The crust was perfection, the sauce was delicious. We also ordered garlic chicken wings and they were delicious!
The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. The sweet tea is fresh brewed, so make sure you get lots of ice.
I highly recommend coming to this little GEM in Bartow, Florida!

I had to note the amazing taste of the the curry chicken salad at this establishment. It's offered on a bed of lettuce (my selection) or as a sandwich. Wow! I will be back. Soups change daily, try to find the day for mushroom brie, you won't be disappointed.

The food is always fresh and tastes wonderful, their supercharged smoothies and fresh salads are always satisfying. To go orders are best at this place. The staff is not always so warm and welcoming. Especially with to go orders, I've had a cashier (middle age Caucasian lady) not look me in the eye at all during my payment and pick up of my order. I personally would never do a dine in here but for a quick lunch pickup, the food and smoothies are worth it.

Well this was a delightful surprise! Yet again, Trip Advisor reviews steered me to a local gem. Christine and her team go out of the way to make your dining experience memorable. All items are homemade. There is no prepared/thawed food. It is all homemade with love!
At the advice of Christine, I selected the pork chunks that were marinated, roasted then flash dried for crispiness. It was served w a side of buttered Cuban pressed bread, yellow rice, and black beans. It was delicious.
For dessert, I ordered a cafe con leche and flan. Both were wonderful! My meal was about $20 which also included a glass of wine. I arrived as a customer and left as family! Wonderful wonderful dining experience!

Replaced "La Esquina Mexican Restaurant" according to another review.
Fast and friendly service. The food was good but the ground beef needed a little more seasoning. Salsa was awesome. We will try again and would recommend.

The Garden Bar is my favorite part of eating at a Ruby Tuesday's. However, the lettuce was wilted, which was not cool. I had the double decker chicken (chicken stuffed with portabello mushrooms, Parmesan cream sauce, and bacon), which was excellent! The wait staff was great, they always get a good tip from us.

Come enjoy large portions, meals to fit any budget. The restaurant is family friendly, low noise, and with the garden style old Broadway setting gives it laid back atmosphere. Food is home-style and home made with fresh ingredients.
Not many Diner Style places in Bartow, but this is one to go to. Several visits breakfast and lunch- no complaints. Great breakfast ANYTHING ! Fried chicken special, Cuban, great club!, any soup-yumm! Service always attentive and friendly - ask for Sheina( our favorite). Won't walk away hungry, large menu. Great prices!

I have been here before, but it has been a few years. The food is still as good as I remember. They bring out chips and fresh salsa when you sit down. I had the chicken quesadilla and it was very good. The wait was not to bad considering it was lunch time during the work week. Only down side was there is one cashier to ring you up and a bunch of us left at once, so there was a wait.

I was working in Bartow, FL and wanted a quick bite to eat that was not the normal fast food restaurants. Lenny's is a chain sub shop but exceeds my expectation I had a Steak Philly with the Loaded Baked Potato Soup and both were very well. As a self proclaimed Philly expert this was one of the best ones I have had while in Florida. The ratio of bread, to meat, to cheese was excellent. I love the soft bread rather than hard bread and the cheese was melted to perfection. This sandwich place cannot be compared to the steak and cheese at Subway, Firehouse, Quiznos, or Joes. It is far superior quality meat than those offered at a standard chain restaurant, and the flavors are evident. The Soup was very good as well, I was pleasantly surprised at the fast and kind service of everyone working there, who seemed to actually be enjoying their job! What an anomaly! Service was excellent !
If you are looking for reasonably priced good eats Stop in! They also have a drive-thru and service was really quick! I will be back to Lenny's without a doubt.
