Love this bakery and have been enjoying all they have to offer for over 15 years. We have had almost everyone of my children's whipped cream cakes for birthdays from Vienna and have never been disappointed. Guests have raved about the quality, taste and presentation. They also have a wide selection of breads, rolls, pizza, spinach pies as well as an incredible assortment of homemade pastries, cakes, pies, desserts, and so much more. We visit regularly and have sampled both savory and sweet. I highly recommend a visit ... or two.

We enjoyed their $10 lunch combo recently - which includes an entree, rice, salad, and an appetizer such as soup or edamame or a spring roll. Very friendly and efficient service. Dinners at very good, too, with a wider menu.

Starbucks in Barrington has the best sandwiches and pastry. It's easy to enjoy the coffee but my surprise was how organic and delicious the sandwiches are only complaint they go quick and they carry a small amount

So brunch time. Enormous menu choices for this relatively smallish kitchen. Luckily we got a table straight away. Pancakes with caramelised banana, avocado on bread were all enjoyed. A good place.

This little gelato restaurant has consistently put out amazing gelato since it opened a year ago. With about 12-20 choices each night, the types of gelato changes. You can order from 1-4 scoops for less than it will cost you in terms of calories and dollars than most competitors. Tastefully decorated with a delightful family in charge---Go now!

Their Bagels are absolutely the best ever. They have a variety of spreads. This is a true mom and pop operation (well at least pop is there all day). They have supported many school events, so they win high marks as great community supporters.
Yes it can be hectic in the morning, with a line to the door sometimes, but to that I say, if you are in a hurry you should have gone to Dunken Donuts.

This small Barrington restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and a friendly staff. The food is sometimes interesting and almost always reliable. But... this time I found my Table Burger tasty but a bit overwhelming. On the other hand my wife found her roasted chicken tasty if a bit skimpy .

The Revival's mission is to deliver a unique and rewarding dining experience to every guest, every time. By serving food that is always fresh and creative, rotating originally crafted and presented beverages, and creating an atmosphere with a friendly and accommodating staff. We have made a sustainability commitment to support the local economy by sourcing area farms, distilleries, breweries, and labor as often as possible. We have a large selection of warm and cold "small plates" in addition to our dinner selections, and we offer many gluten-free and vegetarian options as well. Beer and bourbon lovers will enjoy a selection of over 30 bottled beers in addition to 10 craft beers on tap, and a growing list of over 40 bourbons, ryes and whiskeys. We have a little something for everyone!
Truly, truly continue to be amazed by the offerings at The Revival. It's a small restaurant with big talent and definitely no longer a secret around neighboring towns. Peter and Stephanie are hands-on owners that are committed to delivering new, quality-choice foods and they never disappoint. Just visited tonight with my wife and 24 year old daughter, and wow was it amazing. We (family and friends) all agree, time after time, that they have the freshest, non-fishy tasting mussels in the New England, served in an incredible broth with french fries mixed-in to boot! All the food is fantastic -their salads, for example, are real salads - no getting served just a bowl of iceberg lettuce with a few tomatoes...... this is true, fresh greens with all kinds of compliments, so well done, and always presented with class. The seafood is always spot-on, never disappoints, fresh as can be. If you're up for more casual, then order up a flatbread pizza, nothing too big, nothing to fancy, but always delicious. Tonight's flatbread was a "spicy white clam sauce flatbread".... perfect spice and great taste. And did I mention they have arguably the best bourbon/whiskey selection in the East Bay? The restaurant atmosphere is very nice, cozy but not too tight. Great bar with about 14 seats. My buddies and I frequent it on Tuesdays on our way home from work, and the workers are starting to know us, but we really don't want anyone to know.

We took our time trying Billy's-- it's located in an aging strip mall that doesn't do much to draw you in. But I kept hearing great things about the food, and once we got inside, found the atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and attractive. Have eaten here twice now with the family, and the food has been wonderful. We had steaks and seafood and loved it all. Will go back. Added note: the bar side of the small restaurant looks like fun, and has been packed both times we've been there.

Modern American Bistro
This is, simply, fine dining. Carefully designed dishes that taste and look great, with some unusual ingredient pairings. Service is attentive, the atmosphere is warm, and the prices reasonable. I enjoyed my hanger steak and others at the table loved their duck, their pasta, and their salmon — the salmon came with smoked corn dumplings. :)
