Driving through Barnwell, SC and discovering Mr. B's family restaurant was the best surprise. Their menu is inviting, the service quick and personable and the cost very reasonable. Four adults ordered four different dishes resulting in four raves. Our waitress was helpful and best of all, funny. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Driving through the small town of Barnwell, SC, we ran across this little restaurant on a side street and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. The service was great, staff (maybe 3 total) friendly, and the place was clean. Delicious food. Reasonable price, but they don’t accept credit cards. Go early because they did run out of some of the food while we were there. If I lived in Barnwell, this would definitely be one of my favorite lunch spots.

We've eaten in the restaurant every week for the last several years, and we still love it! Eating inside is the way to go, and for only $11 it's all you can eat including your beverage and dessert. The buffet has such a great selection whether you're a meat lover or a side lover. The buffet is such a great deal and includes pulled pork, ribs, baked and fried chicken, hush puppies, soft and hard skins, mac-n-cheese, green beans, cabbage, tomatoes, baked beans, hash and rice, corn, yams, potato salad, and cole slaw. And yes, I know the menu well because I eat there every week. If you're in Barnwell, make sure you check out Hogg Heaven across from the super Wal-Mart store.

This place is a very basic Chinese restaurant. the difference is, the owner makes sure you get your moneys worth.. the portions and HUGE and the quality is very good, its manly western style Chinese food but its very good. Most costumers are take away orders but they do have a few tables inside. I can't say enough about the tasty food and huge quantities they serve. The Chinese owner (Tony.. lol) is a really great hard working guy. He new we were from out of town and took the time to chat with us.. very nice and caring guy.
if your passing thru Barnwell and want a huge portion of chances food for just a couple of buck.. then be sure to stop in to this place.

My family ate breakfast here on Easter morning and everything was fine, until after we were seated. I glanced back at the counter where the workers were only to see our cashier gnawing away at her finger nails while standing at the front counter. DISGUSTING! She handled money and food and then she does that??? I love Hardee's, just not this one.

We were in Barnwell for a short trip and were told to stop at Winton's for a quick meal. I should say, quick & delicious! All of the staff were friendly. We were in and out in no time, and very satisfied with the meal.

Evacuated for Hurricane Irma. We were early arriving to our lodging so this was next door. Walking in the door, EVERYONE greeted your arrival with a genuinely friendly smile - something small town Southerners are known for. Huddle House is not known for "cuisine" so we had no real expectations. Food, for what they are able to offer, came our hot and quickly, portions were generous, it wasn't greasy. It was, however, typical Huddle House fare. Although it would not be something we would normally choose to patronize, it provided warm hospitality to us evacuees and for that we are grateful.

We had been to this restaurant a few times over the years while in town. It had always been okay. I was appalled at how dirty and disgusting the restaurant was on this visit. The floors were filthy. Everything was dirty. The hallway back toward the kitchen and bathroom was disgusting. The bathroom itself...I've seen cleaner bathrooms at gas stations. Steer clear.

They have their own homemade sauce made using 16 ingredients which they put on the BBQ & slaw sandwich, and it is so good. Generally reasonable prices and welcoming employees. There are nice picnic tables out back to sit down and eat at, or of course, you can order food for the road if you're in a rush.

Went there today for the first time in over a year. I was craving great grilled chicken and nowhere else had anything to offer. So after seeing the Greek Style chicken online on the website, we decided to go try it again. Not the biggest fan of the place since they don't give refills, but desperate times and all. My Grandma ordered a chef's salad, and they only had 2 salad dressings to choose from. My Mom got the philly steak combo, and there wasn't any cheese on it whatsoever. My chicken and greek potatoes came out and it was a half of a chicken, drowning in grease/oil with salt and pepper on it. The skin was a dull brown and soggy/wet. It tasted NOTHING like greek chicken...it tasted like just plain baked chicken. The greek potatoes tasted like boiled potatoes that had been tossed in marinara sauce. Nothing like the roasted potatoes they show on their website. When checking out, they asked how the meal was and when told how gross the chicken was, they were going to speak to the cook, but didn't offer a discount or an anything. $40 later... I'll drive to Aiken next time I want a decent meal!
