Great coffee place. Nice folks and cafe atmosphere are nice! Food needs a little work though.

Baldwinsville is very lucky to have such a wonderful, authentic fish fry in town. This little counter service shop delivers big on variety and quality. They bring several high quality fish to my dinner table whenever we stop-in for take-out. Haddock filets are made to order and almost makes me feel like I'm serving a home-cooked meal to my family. It's that good.
Watch-out for long lines on Friday nights. It's totally worth the wait for made-to-order entrees. If you want to shorten that wait time, just grab the sides from the fridge case and pick your favorite haddock piece from the fryer as they come out. They can hardly keep-up with demand so everything is super hot & fresh. It's an easy short-cut to get in & out.
I highly recommend.... everything.

Yep you guessed it it's September, apples are there for the picking, corn maze is there for the fun and tons of great food and friends and good times. Old-fashioned things you remember doing when you're a kid and give you a lifetime of good memories( if our kids would still come with us but now they're older and mature). We're not, we're still kids just happen to have three grown up kids.

I was recommended this place by my hotel. The waitress was not very friendly. Patience is not her virtue. She left tables waiting. However, the food portion was huge, but the food was very bland. It is a late night diner, but not recommended for good tasting food.

Can't say enough about the delicious hot breakfast plus great service in a welcoming and home type of comfort atmosphere at this place! I ordered Italian toast with eggs, sausage and home fried potatoes. It was fresh thick sliced Italian bread that was amazing. The home fried potatoes were fresh cut and tasted delicious. Eggs and sausage were cooked to perfection. Even though our waitress had just started a few days ago, she new the menu well and her service was excellent. The place is very clean and the decor is nicely vintage, warm and inviting like a Norman Rockwell image of small town America in the good old days. What elevates the atmosphere is that it is actually filled with people who know each other and greet each other by name. If you go through Baldwinsville (an absolutely lovely Village) and are looking for a great home cooked breakfast or lunch -this is a place you must try!

We remember this restaurant as the "Swiss Chalet" in years past. It still has the same "laid back" environment and fairly limited parking, but the food quality remains high.
We attended an evening dinner with our group of seven. Our server, Jordan, attentively provided our selections from a copious menu - and kept the water and wine glasses filled. We split a delicious broiled seafood platter with soup and a delightful cabernet - and didn't have room for desert.

Quaint atmosphere for lunch and dinner. Dine inside and out. Offering all very fresh and made in house. Wine and beer list including house made Sangria. A little piece of Manhattan right here in Baldwinsville. AND 10 gift shops all under one roof!!!
Eclectic atmosphere, good food, pleasant friendly efficient service. The restaurant is located inside the store with outside seating, weather permitting. Good food and shopping in the same place. What more can a woman want?

We brought out of town guests to the main dining room for dinner. We had heard great things so thought we'd give it a try. We walked into the dining room and it was ridiculously dark. Not "mood lighting" dark, like can't see a thing dark!! Even the waiter acknowledged that it was too dark to read the menus without using our phone lights and turned them up a bit. The waiter was wonderful, very accommodating, but he couldn't help with the food or the time it took to come out of the kitchen. One of our guests had asked for his meat to be medium rare, it came out really rare, had to go back. Me and another guests both had scallops. The waiter assured us they were fresh, but they had an odd salty taste. I didn't think much of it, but both of us had stomache "issues" that nite and the next morning. The Risotto was awful, it was the worst risotto I have ever had, it was bland, non-flavored mush. The one meal that was a major hit was the pork special, that was delicious per the other diner who ordered it. The food took a long time to come out. Another table called the manager over to complain. The price of the dinner compared to the quality was not worth it. It may have been an "off" nite, I heard the manager apologize to the complaining table that they had a private party upstairs, but they should make accomodations and staff accordingly.

One of my favorite downtown pubs in downtown B'ville, casual atmosphere, never too crowded and great selection of craft beers and food items.
