We have eaten at the Bulldog numerous times over the years and it is always good. This time the special was catfish and it was served quickly and was good. The burgers are good as well and the strawberry shortcake is top notch. The service is friendly and most of the time quick. A good place to eat.

When it comes to service Chick-fil-A can not be beat. Also, the food and drinks are very good too. Try their breakfast food. It is very good too.

We enjoyed a family dinner outing, 4 adults and 2 small children, at KJ's. The menu had something that appealed to each of us. The house appetizer special, loaded fries, is absolutely delicious - everyone in our group enjoyed them. The seafood was excellent and the steaks were tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. The steaks had lots of fat on them which is why this is a 4 star review instead of 5 stars. It was our first visit but we will go back.

Great night to go! The place was not crowded and seating was immediate . Our server was quick and the order was place all within 5 minutes. Seafood paradise from Cajun country. We had crab legs and Crawfish Étouffée which were delightful. Gator bites as an appetizer. Expensive but good. It would have received a 5 star but the food bar was not up to standards tonight!

This is a great diner with a small menu, which is fine with me because what they do make is done really well. The fried onion burger was perfect - fresh made on the grill (you can watch them make your food) with grilled onions and lettuce and tomato - other condiments are already on your table. The buns were toasted as well which was a nice touch. My friend and I split the 1/4 order of fries and we couldn't finish them. I can't imagine how big of a plate would hold a regular order. There is no specific kids menu, but they offer burgers of different sizes, a grilled cheese sandwich, and a pretty tasty chicken basket that my daughter loved. The root beer float looked amazing but my daughter inhaled it too quickly before I could ask for a taste.
The diner itself isn't too big, and the decor is lots of pictures of locals everywhere - tables and the walls. It feels like a diner should, and the wait staff is really nice. It is worth the little detour to experience made-to-order American classics.

Fresh seafood from the gulf. They batter the shrimp right before they drop them in the fryer. Tasty hushpuppies and fries too! There is also a very nice selection of seafood, steaks and other things to purchase and cook at home.

Very enjoyable. Good food. Fried Pickles best we’ve ever had. I ordered small ribeye, husband ordered larger ribeye. I liked the thicker steak. That is my preference. Both had good flavor. My Aunt got shrimp, nice size she enjoyed her dinner. Full bar. We got there early no crowd. But later the House was packed. Always a good sign.

How is it possible I am the first to review the Market Cafe? I've been there over the years probably 10 times. I hadn't been there for probably 6 years, went today. It is just such a treasure. A diner at it's best. Local people, high quality food prep, pie, a splendid waitress and so much authentic Arkansas tiny town built right in. I had a cheeseburger and onion rings, something I don't normally eat but when you find the right place you just know it. Good ole boys, great, plain ole good food and nice staff.

Meats were tender, tasty, and plentiful portions. Prices were reasonable for what you got on the plates. Khaley was our server and she did so in a friendly, caring manner.

The owner and staff at the grill are excited to see all of our old and new friends at our new location in Russell!!!
