I remember this house in 80th years when I was on field geophysical works in Bakuriani area - it was real old Nest of nice Georgian family. In the present time you can see renovated home with really warm atmosphere and unique Georgian hospitality and care. I strongly recommend Art Villa for stay in Bakuriani village in winter time for Alpine skiing and other winter pleasure as well in summer time when temperature in Tbilisi is really hot but very comfortable in Bakuriani due to high elevation about 2000 meters above see level. You can visit historical interesting places around Bakuriani - Borjomi Valley(with Borjomy spring water), Alalchihe Castle, Vardzia Cave Monastery built in 12th century and enjoy with fantastic fresh air and nature around Bakuriani. Don't miss Kukushka local train between Bogjomi and Bakuriani. Last time I stay in Art Villa with my daughter in summer 2008 and was briefly on October 2014

"Mgzavruli Bistro" is a part of "Mgzavrebi hotel" in Bakuriani. This bistro was recommended by our friends from Tbilisi who are frequent to Bakuriani resort.
We visited this bistro twice during our 4-days stay in Bakuriani. The food in this bistro was exceptionally good both times. Service was very friendly, efficient and attentive.
Interior design is modern combination of light-colored wooden furniture with brick walls. Huge fireplace adds to comfort, especially in chilly winter days.
Yes, I can recommend this place without any hesitation.

A skip hop and a jump away from our hotel we tried out Pesvebi for lunch one day recently. It has an inviting atmosphere, service and menu available in English (we tried out the words and phrases we had learned in Georgian and got some laughs). The food is fresh and delicious, the kinkhali was 100times better than another we had experienced earlier in our trip, the feeling is very authentic and sincere, pricing is quite reasonable and again the staff were all excellent. Highly recommend, two thumbs up, 5 stars all of those ratings apply here! Thanks for a great dining experience!

Well the whole restaurant is smells like a smoking room because smoking is allowed and lot's of people do this. This problem is widely spread in Georgia.
Service is ok but I come to restaurants for food and here's the main problem. I travelled all over Georgia and can say that food here is very average. A place 50m away, not shown on TA has much better choice and quality.

The tourist information center suggested us Bergi. Once there, we were spoken in French by the waiter and he adviced us some local typical food. Fried chicken cooked with garlic and cream was DELICIOUS :-) they also serve breakfasts which we tried the following day without any disapointement. We highly recommend Bergi !

This small scale restaurant offers really good Georgian home made food! We ordered vegetarian dolmas, aubergine rolls, fried potatoes and corn bread and it was all delicious! Best we have eaten so far in Georgia! The owners are very friendly. Lots of personal decorations inside the restaurant, not for those who like it minimalistic. It's like visiting somebody's home for dinner.
