For the last 17 years, owner Stephane has welcomed you to the palm groves of the lagoon at Nettle Bay where, watching the sunset over the lagoon, you can enjoy the gastronomic, gourmet cuisine in an idyllic setting. Chef Malory Leroux offers daily specials sourced from the market's daily offerings, without forgetting the signature dishes: foie gras in truffle oil, lobster raviolis, Wild French sera bass. Mathieu Maini, the pastry chef, is constantly searching for new creations, such as the already famous strawberry macaroon. La Cigale brings a touch of delicacy which rounds off your meal with finesse. The wine menu, without doubt one of the richest on the island, will undoubtedly seduce you. If Reservations are encouraged, it is because this corner of paradise, very busy during the season, is the ideal spot for a romantic dinner. (gift certificate - honey moon - weddings - Private Diner)
This little gem sits right on the beach.. it looks like it's behind an apartment building but don't let it fool you! Our waiter was very friendly and a delight! Everything I ordered was fresh and just listening to the water put me at peace.. the macaroon I had for dessert replicated Paris! If you have the chance to come to Saint Maartin make it a priority to eat here!

The french are famous for their pastries and it's no different here, in the French Caribbean. There's every kind of pastry you can imagine. And you can sit on the benches eating your snakes and watch the hustle and bustle of the busy market square.

We went to dinner twice during our stay in St. Martin. The food is incredibly with really friendly and prompt service! Out of all the restaurants in Baie Nettle, Mati Beach had the best prices and probably the greatest portions. My partner and I had the crab and mango tartare to start (amazing) and I had the fresh red snapper which was amazing. The second time we went we had the lobster bisque and we both got the creole plate which is a must!!

After Huricane Irma (Sep 6 2017) the Terrace was destroyed, but a new and stronger place is in the make and almost ready. What a great place, real mediteranian food and very hospitable host. Wishing them all the best with the newly build Terrace and keep up the good work, and the great menu.

Jean-Baptiste and his wife Paula provided an unparalleled customer experience. Everything on the menu is 100% homemade and delivered with great care. I definitely recommend trying Le Sous Marin for lunch or dinner.

We had an excellent lunch here, service was friendly and fast. My Croque Madame was delicious, and the others in our party ordered the potato & bacon crepe and ham & cheese croissants, both were delicious as well! The owner was very helpful and gracious, providing us with fresh hot brioche to take home with us after our meal. Highly recommend!

Our little Caribbean style restaurant has so much to offer: Laid back ambiance, great service, but the most important, delicious home cooked meals that will make you come back for more again and again. Like us on Facebook and be part of our community!
It was so nice to find this restaurant, after what seemed like an endless array of mediocre food and service issues during our visit, The Palms made up for it! The hosts are amazing, very cordial, made you feel so welcome, their little restaurant is a must stop for those looking for great food and service. We have eaten there twice during our stay and both visits were great!

We’re relative regulars in Simpson Bay area (well, at least meaning annual trips for 10+ years). Always meant to visit little J based on good reviews, but didn’t get around to it until tonight. I’m giving it “awesome”rating because the food is just incredible. Amy steered us to the first timers option of shared selection plate, plus bottle of wine. Best priced deal on the island, and so yummy that I’ll be thinking about this meal for a week to come. To be honest the dining area is lacking on ambience, but best deal and taste in town means that I’ll overlook space. Going back here before I leave town!!

We went there for lunch, it was a beautiful day, there was a lovely breeze. The lobster bisque was delicious, the sushi and presentation was remarkable, and the Deserts were fantastic. Really nice restaurant, hidden little gem.Thank you for having rated us. We hope to welcome you back to our restaurant soon. Best regards, Dreams Management.

The hardest choice you'll have is deciding upon which type of Fresh baked FRENCH pastry that you'll want to eat. They usually have Almond croissants, Chocolate Brioches, egg and ham quiches, and many other types of yummies! Also, they have delicious stick bread !
