We did a very special Christmas party here and atmosphere was super! It seems almost a farm and rooms are typical of Tirol. We had dinner with beaf-fondue and many different vegetables, very special and alternative idea. People of restaurant are so nice and they had attention for us. We'll come back for sure, to taste something more of tirol kitchen.

We were made so welcome by the owner who was our waiter for the night(Wednesday) he spoke good English, explained the food and looked after us, food was excellent and prices really good, him and his partner have run this place for 31 years which pretty much says it all

Following previous Tripadvisor reviews we went for a Sunday Pizza to this restaurant and booked a table in advance. We were greeted by the owner and welcomed in to a very clean and tidy restaurant. The owner seems to know most of his local guests on first name basis. The menu has a classic variety of pizza and pasta dishes as well as a small wine menu. As we were unsure about our wine selection our waitress offered us to try the wine before we ordered. There are not too many places we've been to over the years that offer this service. Considering the pizza was made in a stone oven the pizza was nice but not amazing as it was very very thin indeed. Wine was great, tap water was on the table. Mixed salad was very good with fresh ingrediants. Pricing was average resulting in a good meal and great value. Location is mid town with easy parking available during the evening. We will be back again to try out other items on the menu.

We just loved this place! A friend of us who lives in this region took us to dinner, and without hesitation, the meals were the best at this place among several ones we tried in Goetzen and Innsbruck. Highly recommend grilled meat selections.

Wonderfully situated at the top of the Olympiabahn, you have a great view of the surrounding area and pistes.
The restaurant is beautiful outside and in, but the prices are higher than in the valley, but not to expensive.
It is not a budget restaurant, but to eat here with this view is wonderful

die Wilderin offers modern and yet traditional alpine cuisine. All produce used is sourced directly at local farmers and producers in adherence with seasonal offerings - only what is available at any given moment in time will find its way into die Wilderin's kitchen and onto the plates. Animals are bought as a whole and used that way - meaning, whatever a whole animal can offer on different cuts will be offered. No more, no less. die Wilderin's team is by no means perfect but we are all trying hard, love our jobs and hope our guests take the plunge with us - it's a hell of a ride.
This was hands down our favourite restaurant in Austria. We enjoyed our dinner so much we came back the second night (and we stayed in Innsbruck for only 2 nights).
We chose this restaurant based on the TA reviews. I emailed the restaurant beforehand to reserve a table and request the menu. Although they could not send me a menu because it changes frequently based on the availability of ingredients, they were kind enough to give an indication of what to expect. It's not a big restaurant so reservation is recommended.
Not only are the ingredients local and fresh, the cooking techniques are top notch. We had the slow cooked veal on both nights and would not hesitate to have it again. The meat was juicy, tender and succulent. We also had wine by the glass, which was reasonably priced and well chosen. Service was excellent, the best that we've received in Austria. The small menu (3 starters, 3 mains) is written in German, and the server translated everything for us. Prices were comparable to other restaurants in Austria.

Nice menu, good pizzas, friendly prices and friendly personnel. However, despite the European non-smoking policy for restaurants there is always a terrible cigarette smell throughout the place. If you're a non smoker or have children you should avoid this place. Otherwise I would give 4 stars.

Excellent value for money - had to have weiner schnitzel of course - followed by shredded pancakes with apples. we began with mojitos, had a glass each of local red wine as recommended by our (very helpful and friendly) waitress. Total bill tonight was 45E. Food was delicious, and we had the added bonus of the town wind band assembling beneath the outdoor balcony dressed in their Tyrollean outfits.

After a week of Austrian food, the opportunity for variety was welcome. The seafood was especially good: we had a fish soup and gazpacho with prawns for starters, and we both had tiger prawns flambeed in Ricard as mains. The flavour and freshness were excellent. There was a good selection of French wines too. Service was polite and efficient. The only very slight criticism was the tight fit sitting at the table, and that was not a result of my putting on weight!
