Hugging the Swiss border, this stylish resort gets over 26 feet of snow each winter. Villages des Enfants, for kids and young teens, is the perfect place for learning. Softski is for adult newcomers or those who've been away for a while, while The Stash is Europe's first giant ecological snowboard park.

This place is fantastic! We booked late and they were very helpful when we rang up to accommodate us. The food did not disappoint. We sampled the fondu and raclette and they were amazing. The staff were very polite and made us welcome. Warm atmosphere , great food xx would go back and we are very fussy about your food

In the heart of the resort, a fine and innovative cuisine, in a cosy traditional decor with a modern touch, unique in Avoriaz.
We ate there on the last night of our ski holiday in Avoriaz. Le Bistro stood out a bit from the other restaurants and we enjoyed an evening meal at the back of the restaurant which overlooks the beginner and sledging slopes. We enjoyed a very good meal of various meats and fries and desert was wonderful. Our daughter had a steak hashes from the children's menu which she loved.
We did notice that the tables with families got served a lot quicker which although we appreciated it we did feel a little rushed particularly as we'd ordered pre drinks before the meal so were obviously wanting to take out time a little.
The atmosphere was good and the décor interesting. I think more suited for an evening meal than lunch.
Prices were in keeping with the area which can be a little high due to the difficulty in getting produce up the mountain.

This place is a class act, a cut above the motion restaurants. This yer it s has an upgrade, so its now bigger and very swish. The plats du jour are delicious - usually with a chantrelles salec, jou du porc, venison or beef stews, lamb....all served with communal dishes of crispy sauté potatoes and either cabbage savoyarde (a favourite) or courgettes/cauliflower gratin. The salads are good too - my favourite is the chicken liver, unusual for the Mountains. Fantastic tartes. Sharp and friendly service. Downside - it's expensive! We dont go there are often as my other favourites, but sure enough we are there for high days and holidays, every Christmas day for instance, and when we have friends to stay.

Take a seat in a Savoyard chalet and discover a generous and tasty gourmet cuisine inspired by the mountain.
Having skied in many French resorts we were looking forward to our dining in Avoriaz. Unfortunately, finding a decent meal inAvoriaz is a challenge. Once you've had your fill of melted cheese, potatoes, ham and fries you find that the bar is pretty low for good meals. On our 6 th night ,with low expectations, we found Reserve and what a lovely meal (being Canadian we,re not fans of exotic meats like kidneys or tough-as-nails beef). Husband had entrecôte which(surprise) was tender and tasty. I had the cod which was tastefully steamed and
delicious. Veggies and mashed potatoes were good as was the bread. Service simply excellent. This is a lovely restaurant, mellow ambience, not noisy and very gracious. Highest recommendations

Excellent service by very efficient and friendly staff. Food is good value and tasty. Gets very busy at peek times but we always managed to get a table and food is quick.
A great place to fuel up for an afternoon of skiing or just to chill out and enjoy people watching! Love this place and love Avoriaz! Amazing.......

I recommend the pizzas and the salads. Always worth considering the plat du jour. Tartiflette was disappointing. Service very poor on this visit (our wine arrived after we had finished eating after asking for it many times). I hope today was an aberration and my previous visit was the norm.
A real open fire with clean loos upstairs rather than downstairs for a change !

We were planning on having a very late lunch but forgot the kitchens might close which they were scheduled to do at 4pm. So we were a little late but they pulled the stops out and did us a lovely Spag Bol and Spaghetti Carbonara. They also had an apres bar that was rockin' when we left

Went for dinner once on a week’s trip to Avoriaz. Generous portions of good food - the maxi burger was that indeed. Be sure to book though as it was incredibly busy!

New Bar Restaurant of this winter L PASSAGE on the slope at super Morzine just at undred meter next to bubble lift, beautifull view of the "mont blanc",on the winter take "tretras" slope ,welcom to taste speciality of the région, and have a good time...
+ nice large, clean toilet which is welcome after a long day on the slopes ;).
+ good music and Seating area with decent views.
+ really close to supermorzine so you can stay right up to last lifts.
+ bottle dark draft beer was great. Can't recall where it was from.
+ barman was a dude.
- draft beer was average and not helped by the water used to cool glass down. I really hate the about bars.
