Having had the occasion to drive through Aurora on several occasions, people always asked if I stopped at Flavors...so I finally did. The ice cream and frozen yogurt are soft-serve style, but with a special touch. Somehow the infuse a flavor into the outer edges of the ice cream. There is not a huge variety of flavors, but you can dip it into sprinkles, chocolate or cherry coating, etc. Staff is very friendly and will allow you to have a taste before ordering. Very affordable.

Our first visit was on a busy Friday night and we had reservations. We were promptly seated at our reserved time and subsequent service from our waitress was superb. Food was good but several items on both my plate and my wife's plate were lukewarm.

Dan and Lani Valas started Great Crescent Brewery in November 2008 in a small storefront on 2nd Street in Aurora, IN. Since these humble beginnings they have expanded into a historic building built in 1843 which served as the warehouse for the Thomas and JW Gaff Distillery. All food prepared on site - smoked meats, sausages and salmon. Fresh salads and home-made sides can be selected to accompany your meal. Fresh bread baked daily and gourmet cupcakes available for dessert. We are an award winning brewery with a rotating selection of beers to compliment our 4 standards Blonde Ale, Coconut Porter, Harmonie Bier Dark Lager and Aurora IPA. Always 9 of our own hand-crafted beers on draft and 3 gourmet soda's - Sparkling Lime, Vanilla Cream and Root beer. Check our website and FB page for details on monthly events.
My husband and I heard this place was good but our experience was not. We will not be going back there. I ordered the pulled chicken and it was nothing but a piece of cooked chicken, not evened seasoned broke into huge pieces and put on a hard bun.

Armed with our Groupon, we trekked over to Aurora to try out this historic restaurant. We were so pleasantly surprised by the fabulous food, comfortable laid-back atmosphere and attentive service. Shrimp and grits to die for, fried mozzarella appetizer among other things, were all delicious. It was difficult to choose what to order from the very diverse menu.
We’ll be back! Next time we’ll try the burgers.

We go out of our way to visit this Dairy Queen as they have Raspberry malts and shakes WITHOUT SEEDS! They do have a bad habit of closing a little early or turning their lights off before closing time, but they will usually still serve you, I just don't think they are always happy about it. We often go to Bingo in Aurora, and head straight there after, which is usually still a half hour before they are supposed to close.

Jesse and April have not only continued the family tradition but added some new twists . Many new items on the side to now include soups , salads and pasta dishes . The ham and cheese hoagy is still one of my favorites using a high quality lean ham that nobody else uses . It cost too much is probably what other places would say . But not at Combs Pizza for its on their daily menus . Did I mention fresh pizza dough that they make and let rise to perfection ? It's Combs Pizza and not fast food so enjoy

We were heading over to Shawnee lookout State Park to do some hiking and opted to stop in Lawrenceburg to eat here on the advice of a coworker who lives close by.
We arrived a few minutes after 1:00 PM and noted that the restaurant was near capacity with only one table remaining. For me, a good sign the restaurant is good, is a packed house. Being our first time there, we waited to be seated until we were informed we should place our order at the register, pay, then take a table and our food would be brought out.
We reviewed the menu on the wall, decided and then ordered taking the last remaining table. For as busy as the restaurant was, they appeared short staffed but our service was prompt, courteous and we received our food shortly after ordering.
My son ordered the Gyro burger with greek fries, my wife, the Fisherman’s platter with the salad ( I know, who goes to a Greek place specializing in gyros and orders fish?). I ordered the Greek salad asking them to hold the Feta cheese and go lightly with the greek salad dressing.
My son and wife’s order came prior to mine and while my wife was looking over her meal, my son was devouring his. The missus thinks he finished his burger in 3 bites but, I believe he came up for air at least a couple of times. Score one for Zorba’s as my son can be somewhat picky.
My wife was a few bites into her meal, when a very apologetic waitress delivered the news that my salad had been made using the normal amount of dressing and they had included the Feta cheese. She informed me it would take just a few minutes to remake it. By this time my son was down to just a few fries and surreptitiously eyeing my pita bread, the only part of my meal to arrive.
Since we were going hiking, I was feeling somewhat adventurous and told her to go ahead and bring out the completed meal. She again offered to make me a new one, but I reiterated, I would try the already completed one.
Once it arrived, I knew it would be easy enough to pick around the crumbled Feta. It’s not that I don’t like Feta, but I’m reducing my dairy and honestly it’s not my favorite type of cheese. The salad itself was very good and I enjoyed it. Somewhat too much dressing for my taste as I like my salads lightly seasoned. If Zorba's is reading this, a step up would be to use spinach instead of the iceberg lettuce (my two cents). S
Sometime during my conversation with the waitress and my salad arriving, my pita bread disappeared. Eyeing my son criminally, I received the “who me?” look in return and had to finish my salad without bread.
With the exception of the muddled order, our dining experience was quite pleasant. We enjoyed our food and with the exception of my wife, we finished our dinners.
The service was above par and the restaurant itself was tidy and very clean. Upon visiting the restrooms I was pleased to see them well stocked and clean. There was some stickiness to the floor, but seeing how clean the floor appeared, I attribute that to the common mistake of using too much cleaner in the mop water (along with not rinsing well).
Due to the way orders are taken at the register, I would suggest that if you're asking for a change to what’s offered on the menu item you’re requesting, ask them to repeat the order back to you to confirm your request. Something I did not do.
All things considered, we enjoyed our visit and when over that way again, would not hesitate to eat there a second time.

Discover Farm-Fresh Goodness
After many disappointing visits to this location of the well-known Bob Evans chain, I immediately noticed a difference here. The tables were clean, or being bused, even by the manager. The wait staff seemed to be friendlier and always bustling to meet diners' needs. Also a much needed and positive change. I ordered a 4 cheese grilled sandwich along with a cup of chicken noodle soup. Both were extremely good. The soup was filled with chunks of white chicken breast and teamed with homemade style noodles. The melted cheeses were a wonderful blend, with the bread perfectly grilled and not greasy. Even the coffee tasted better. I'll definitely be back to this new, improved well-managed restaurant.

This the first time the kids did their first spartan run and they seemed to enjoyed it. Also my husbands first spartan run as well. He finished yeaha.. A winner in my book. Very proud of him.
After the run we checked into hotel then my husband and I hit Hollywood casino I'm the evening. The next day we crossed the Ohio River to go into Cincinnati Ohio. Great time
