Our daughter, who works in Occupational Health at Edinburgh Airport, passed on information from the firemen there who had been on a course in Auch.
As we were visiting the area for a wedding, we thought it would be worth giving it a try. All they had told her about the restaurant was true. Le Patron was a formidable, but welcoming character. And the meal was amongst the best we have ever experienced in France.
A jug of aperitif was placed on our table which already was furnished with a bottle each of rosé and red and a carafe of water. A tureen of garbure was offered to us, after which we were motioned to the hors d'oeuvres buffet, groaning with delights. A mountain of meats -lamb, beef and duck - was brought us us from the grill, along with beautifully presented ratatouille, chips and braised chicory. Enough meat to feed another four people was removed to the kitchen.
It was only curiosity and greed that propelled us to the immaculate buffet of Deserts. All the classics were there - mousse au chocolat, crème caramel, tarte au fraises, îles flottants, meringue au citron. Quite superb!
And all for €52 for the pair of us! We were even offered a glass of Armagnac as we were paying the bill.
The entertainment was added to by the arrival of crews from civil and military aircraft, all of them greeted with insults from Monsieur Le Patron.
This is an experience that will certainly be repeated. Friends and family visiting us in the future will be introduced to this unforgettable place.

Three of us had lunch here, on the very nice balcony, which has a great view. We had the set lunch, which is 17 euros for 3 courses, and it was absolutely delicious. We hadnt played golf, but were encouraged by the Trip Advisor reviews to give it a try, and we're very glad we went.

We had dinner on one occasion at this restaurant. The food was good and the menu simple with fresh produce and ingredients.Noticeably, it is patronised by local French people which is always a good sign. Charming staff.

Small restaurant where you cook with love, a local and regional cuisine. We have 25 seats, one to 28 people. we propose, summer Terrace 18 seats. Wifi is free. No TV though. Camille and Patrick will welcome you and smile.
This is very popular. I had the special menu, with foie gras followed by black pork. Judith had salmon salad. Both well served and delicious. The location is very central although tucked down an alley. It's obviously very popular and busy. Service was good and prompt and the atmosphere was fun.

La Grande Salle brings you back in another time. A different and more modern experience awaits you in the plate. Some of the best products, worked by the chef with maturity and creativity, bring plenty of freshness and surprise in the plate. The wine list presents wines from all over France. Big names and friends are largely represented! Au plaisir!
A formal business lunch in a formal setting ,excellent wines ,champagne, Armagnac and food all prepared by chef Vincent Casassus and explained course by course by his brother. Excellent foie gras with fig and floc chutney, slow braised beef and vegetables and a perfect chocolate fondant.very very French.

We came here for lunch. The restaurant was pretty full and we didn't reserve beforehand, however we got a nice table downstairs. The waitress was super fast, very friendly and full of positive energy/passion for her job. We ordered fish, steak and pasta carbonara. All three dishes were delicious and went great with recommended bottle of local rose. As a dessert I definitely recommend crepe a l'orange! Delicious treat.

This modern eatery specialises in fresh tagliatelle with a variety of sauces, such as prawns with garlic or curry. Had lunch here while on a day trip to Auch. The lunch menu has only a few choices but the food was excellent and good value. They even prepared a vegetarian meal for me that was not on the menu. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
