The food was excellent. The service was great. It's a Monday evening. The iced tea was fresh. I had the fish and chips with the salad bar. Everything tasted fresh.

This is my favorite ice cream place of the many you'll encounter along US-23 as it makes its way up the Lake Huron coastline. Serving sizes are generous, prices are reasonable, and the brands they serve (Ashby's and Mackinac Island Creamery) are both good. My favorites are Ashby's Eskimo Kisses and Mackinac Island Creamery's Salty Turtle. And I am in love with the wrap around porch outside; what a great place to enjoy your treat! I usually stop here on Sundays on my way back to Detroit from the Tawases, and if you wanna miss rush hour both here and on 75, leave a little later in the afternoon, because both are packed if you get caught up in the mass exodus!

Love the atmosphere here just homey and comfy, food is very good and service is good just needs a little tweaks to the details credit card machine wasn't working properly which should be addressed asap they said it was my card no it's your machine I went to the IGA and purchased a few things to make sure and worked there thank god I had some cash on me just lost my air miles on this dinner lol! I'll visit again and make sure my credit card works first by ordering my favorite glass of wine William Hill Chardonnay yes keep this wine❣️❣️❣️nice wine list ❣️❣️

this is a family diner, bar, restaurant with very good food and pizza. their phone number is (989) 876-8612
This is my third time here over the past year. The pizza is much improved. The toppings are plentiful, and there is an excellent, crunchy, crisp crust. I will be coming back.

This tea parlor (located inside Alabaster Corners) just opened two months ago. I have wanted to visit since it opened, and took my wife for Valentines day.
I was VERY pleasantly surprised!
We purchased the full Afternoon Tea for two, which was about $46, which may sound steep for tea, but trust me...its NOT, read my entire review to find out why!
This is a FOUR COURSE tea, beginning wit a pot of our choice tea, which we chose White Tea with currant. There was enough tea in that one pot for us each to have fourcups! And there was still a second pot coming!
We then got the Soup of the Season, which was roasted tomato and basil. It was delicious!
We then got tea sandwiches of chicken salad and herbs. The second pot of tea we got was chai spice...delicious!
We then got a scone (it was big, and we each got one, like 6" across!), served with lemon curd and devonshire creme.
Then th parlor desert of the day, which was a tray filled with chocolate covered cherries, cookies, these brownie type things and snickerdoodle like bars.
We were there for 1 1/2 hours and didnt even know! We would have happily stayed longer, but we had an appointmet to go to.
Here is the kicker!
everything was handmade by the owner! Cooked fresh that day!

Modern Craft has some great wines. They offer a wide variety of different fun flavors. We normally visit the West Branch location but had the chance to go to this new location.
Make sure you give all the different wines a chance, you might find something new you like.
This year they had a few new wines that we did buy. The woman working said they do free over night shipping from that store if you call!!
We will continue to keep up with the modern craft wines as they continue to grow. They are trying to open a tasting room in our city of Wyandotte!

I've eaten here twice now, and both have been excellent experiences. I've sampled several varieties of their pizzas (I especially love the spinach and fresh mushroom) as well as their calzones. All are very tasty and reasonably priced. My family called ahead and they had our table all set up for us when we arrived. In addition, they also deliver anywhere in the local area. The place is always busy with pick-ups, so the locals must already know how great this place is. In addition to this, the owners and staff are super-friendly. They will go out of their way to make you happy and to make your meal a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this place.

Stopped for breakfast and was suprised to learn that this new restaurant is owned by the people who ran Mitches farther into Tawas. Ordered my favorite "croissant with fried egg, cheese and shaved ham." This sandwich literally melts in your mouth. I can nver eat a whole one but it is something to look forward to for lunch or late night snack. Cabin atmosphere inside with lots of cut log framing and taxidermy animals. My husband and I were full and satisfied with our meal. Portions were generous and prices well suited for families with children. Will definetly be back!!

Our sandwiches were typical for a Subway restaurant. The service was quick and friendly and the place was clean. This restaurant is within the gas station convenience store and rather cramped (no place to sit), but the setup is fine.
