We were headed from one big city to another for a funeral and bit hungry. Couldn't face another Chilis so went to trip advisor and WOW! Fresh flavor filled fabulous service. It was late but it did say they were open. Yeah! They were snd it was worth the 1/4 mile off the Main Street highway!

This will remind you of the old fashioned DQ's, not the modern DQ's that seem to be popping up everywhere these days. It was excellent. The food and service were great. If you're driving through Atoka on the highway, you should give it a try.

Apple fritters -- huge, spendy. Made as should be made -- gnarly, with apple chunks. Crispy, not soggy -- but not crunchy. Eat with plenty of fluids -- like coffee.

Very clean, friendly, efficient restaurant. Family run and can be depended on to provide a great lunch - just be prepared to possibly have to grab a table in the adjoining Subway or Taco Mayo since this place is typically packed with locals Mon - Fri.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch. There was fried chicken on the lunch buffet and that always appeals to me! They had several vegetables to chose from and a nice salad bar. Don't let the small size fool you! We both had the lunch buffet, which included cake for dessert and tea for $15. I'll take that any day. We saw some hamburgers that others ordered and they looked large enough for two people.

Really great service and consistently delectable Tex-mex food the El Adobe is a local gem. Family owned for generations the restaurant is located in a renovated Catholic Church which lends a great atmosphere. There's a full service bar in an adjacent room and beyond that a picturesque patio offering full service dining al fresco. There is live music on the patios so be sure to check out the schedule. A must see!!

Great, friendly staff! Outstanding meal! Very reasonably priced!
We were greeted and seated by Eduardo, complete with a warm welcome and a big smile. Jose, our waiter, recommended the Molajece which is pictured on the front of their menu. Neither my wife or I have had this dish since our first trip to Mazatlan in the mid 90s. We were both very impressed by the quality and flavor of the chicken, beef and shrimp and the sauces. Dinner was accompanied by a pair of chilled glasses with salted rims and garnished qith lime... Full of ice cold Tecate cerveza. This is a great find in a small town between BRANSON and south TEXAS. CHECK IT OUT!

I had the Swiss Burger. It was seasoned well, the flavor of mushrooms and onions was wonderful. The fries and onion rings was a great plus. Ice cold beer was perfect with meal. They have free music and free pool table for you to enjoy. Love the feel and set up of the restaurant.

We stopped by midday for a couple of half footers to tide us over on our road trip to Branson.
Despite the confusion of a busy truck stop, there were plenty of counter folks to give fast and friendly service.
There's no scrimping on ingredients at this Subway.
A good place to stop in Atoka.

We had stopped for coffee, with the skies darkening, winds freshening. I got the coffee and a big McNuggets meal for my daughter, returning to the car.
As we began eating, hail dropped sporadically. We jumped out with our goodies and headed straight back in! A tornado had touched down, just a couple miles south of us!
The staff were exemplary, coffee great, and people generally enjoying the new building atmosphere that seems designed into the corporation's new facilities. I love their new salads, shakes, fries and combo meals...McDonald's has taken the complaints of the public and turned hundreds of franchises in to cheery and airy places, where kids are protected and the laminate and steel furniture inviting.
