Awesome cool place. Cozy environment; great for meetings and gatherings too. Many have gone here during their busy work day for an espresso based drink like a frappe or sometimes a hot latte. Light salads and sandwich fare avilable too. Open Wednesday and Friday nights too with some cool background music. Great date place too.

This restaurant has wonderful food and fantastic servers. I had the catfish and shrimp platter. The portion sizes are very big and the food was delicious. My favorite items were the catfish and the turnip greens—so good! Our server was so great, always refilling our drinks and super friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Arrived on Monday evening around 7p.
Ordered the cheeseburger with fries. Teammates ordered the hamburger and the gravy and onion smothered hamburger steak.
Meal arrived hot and timely as ordered. The hamburger was too dry, not juicy at all. The gravy was brown gravy and not spicy at all. The fries were crisp.
Meal for 3 less than 30bucks.
I posted pics.

I don't know what has changed... When I wrote my original review "Gluten and diet conscious? Start on the left..." back on 1/22/2016, we couldn't have been more pleased with the fact that there were plenty of options. Not only for Gluten adn diet conscious, but all the other options as well.
NOTE: We have been back to Wind Creek Atmore many times since my original reivew. However, this one was quite surprising...
We visited Wind Creek Atmore on Christmas day. We played, had a good time, and called it a night w/o visiting the Buffet. The next morning - the day AFTER Christmas - we returned and played some more and decided to grab a bite at the Buffet before heading home.
How surprised we were when we got to the cashier. What happened to the food voucher that we got as a rewards member? The cashier at the Buffet said they don't do that any longer. Paid approx $22.00 for us for lunch! Ridiculous!
When we were seated, the table was clean enough, and we were pleasantly greeted by our server. Iced Tea for us please... (they have GREAT Iced Tea!!)
On to the Buffet...
The salad bar seems smaller. Not as many fresh options and a lot of creamy-type options, but it looked fresh and clean. What we had from there was tasty, but how can you go wrong with a good salad?
The oriental station again has been limited to it's selections. Didn't even stop there. Oh, and what happened to the Dragon Balls (Donuts)? No where to be found....
The fish station couldn't disappoint. The catfish was fresh and hot. Still very tasty.
The meat station was a bit limited. And the person carving was a bit a grump. Guess Santa wasn't good to them, but with that attitude I can see why...
No green beans. Only broccoli "casserole", no fresh. Not many "just veggies". So that limits for Gluten watchers.
The made to order pasta station was abandoned. But lots of pasta options, as that was pasta night. So I guess they were getting ready for it.
One lone pizza... and it looked to have seen better days.
No Gluten free station and limited gluten free options other than the salad. NOTHING was marked as gluten free either, so you couldn't even guess if the baked chicken was gluten free or not.
The sugar free deserts are gone. If they were there, there was no way of knowing what was sugar free vs. regular. No one manning the station to ask.
So what happened to the Buffet that I raved about before? No telling.
VERY disappointing! We won't be back... we are off to Biloxi from now on...

Our three-meal restaurant features contemporary menu dishes, along with good, old-fashioned Southern favorites to satisfy your hunger.
Service was very good, the dining area while nothing special, was okay for breakfast. The loaded hashbrowns made up for anything that lacked a "wow" factor. Buttery with finely diced onion, bell pepper and ham, served with a generous cheddar cheese topping.
The menu looked good all round and we were very happy we chose to eat before heading home.

There are casino high priced restaurants here but the best food is in the little Waffle House in the shadows of the huge hotel/casino. Our food orders were served right, hot and so delicious.

Mr. Gold has been in business for a very long time. His caterers meals are excellent. By far the best bbq sandwiches around. His restaurant is only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I have always been pleased with the items I have purchased from them.
