One of our favorite restaurants.
We had NYE reservations and the restaurant was festive and lively. Great service as usual and the food was delicious. The lobster pasta always has an abundance of lobster and the table side bronzino is terrific too. Love the vegetable sides and the lemoncello also

Took out pulled pork and 1/2 rack rib dinner. Both delicious and authentic. Ribs have dry rub and lightly sauced. Meat fell off bone and had a nice smoky flavor. Pulled pork was tender, juicy and tasty with a smoky sweet flavor. Mac and cheese was fantastic as were their smoky baked beans which had shreds of pork hidden inside. Be warned: get there early, as they will run out of brisket early in the evening. Have a plan B in mind.
You can get pizza and sandwiches anywhere in Delaware County, BBW is a welcome and delicious addition.

La Porta features regional Italian cuisine drawing inspiration from all across Italy, with classic theory and Chef McAndrews' personal finesse. Our menu changes often to provide the freshest seasonal ingredients. We welcome you to enjoy an authentic Italian experience with good friends and good wine. Buon Appetito!
Visited last week (12/13) for lunch, it was my first visit. It is an unassuming little place with amazing food and fantastic service. I will certainly be back to try this place out for dinner.

Dined here for lunch and it was very good. They serve breakfast and lunch while they are open and everything was fresh and tasty. The menu offers many different items so everyone should be able to find something they like. It appeared to be a restaurant frequented by locals, but I and my associates were treated like kings. Do yourself a favor and go here for lunch or breakfast.

Went to Ravanesi the first time on a Tuesday night. A small place with tables for 2 or 4. We had to wait awhile for our pizza but it was worth it. Super thin and delicious. A whole pizza is really best for one person. Everything is made fresh to order. There is usually a wait and a line out the door. Looking forward to our next visit.

A contemporary approach to Southern Italian cuisine with ever changing innovations by Chef Chris Blasi.
Went last night with a friend after a long work day. Wanted a BYOB as friend had a fine bottle of cab. Have been here a while ago and liked it.
I ordered the lasagne and my friend ordered the gnocchi in a pesto sauce. My lasagne was spot on. Nice cheese on top, pasta and meat layers underneath. Extremely tasty and satisfying. My friend enjoyed his large bowl of gnocchi saying it was too good not to finish even though he was full after about eating three quarters of it.
The cab went well with my lasagne. I will order it again when I go back with my wife. I suspect she will order the same.
Good service and nice lively atmosphere. And, the prices are reasonable. No reason to dine at the over abundance of chain Italian restaurants when you have a local place that does it so much better.
Try it. You’ll like it.

Friends brought us here to sample the best hoagies around. I inadvertently called it a sub and was given "the eye." How amazing the hoagie was! I had an "authentic" and could not have been happier. Fresh ingredients, friendly service...yup. Charmed this southerner into hoagie heaven.

We went to the Aston Dairy Queen for dessert after lunch & each had Chocolate Soft Serve (1 in a cone & 1 in a cup). It was delicious!!! We sat on one of the tables on the side of the building (partially protected from the elements). There is no inside seating available at the restaurant - only outside.
It's a great place (and my favorite) to go for an occasional ice cream treat. I've had their blizzards, hot fudge sundaes & chocolate soft serve in a plain waffle cone - all great.
FYI - They do get busy in the evenings in the summer & there is often a relatively short wait.

This is another great restaurant in Aston PA, great food, sitting is kind of close together to fit more people, the line at the door tells you how good the food is, large portions and a good value.
