Artesia is a city in southeast Los Angeles County, California. Artesia was incorporated on May 29, 1959 and is one of Los Angeles County's Gateway Cities. The city has a 2010 census population of 16,522. Artesia is surrounded on the west, south, and east sides by Cerritos, with Norwalk to the north. Artesia is the home of the East West Ice Palace, an ice rink which is co-owned by Michelle Kwan. I was recommended this restaurant for three reasons: try their ice creams, vada pao and chutney sandwiches. Icecream was really OK, nothing to boast about. Flavors did not appear real and was too creamy for me. Vada Pao was great, loved the spices. Their chutney sandwich is also way overrated. Will only return to this place for their vada pao, nothing else.
Owner was very ncie and pleasant.

CERRITOS RESTAURANT: DINING, CATERING, TAKE-OUT AND GIFT CARDS Superb Food at Great Prices! Wood Ranch's Award-Winning Cerritos restaurant features a menu of highly praised, signature dishes such as: Premium American Baby Back Pork Ribs, Certified Angus Beef(C) (steaks, prime rib, and burgers), USDA Choice Tri-Tip, fresh fish, and chicken. Our Cerritos restaurant also offers a broad selection of fantastic salads, appetizers, and homemade desserts.
The phone number that is listed for Cerritos Wood Ranch is bogus. Tried 4 times to get through to confirm reservations as requested by a phone message left by a restaurant employee. Need to get their act together. Four times trying each time an impolite disconnect or a goodbye.

The food is good. However, the Daal, Kadhi and most of the vegetable dishes are loaded with sugar - too much sugar. The amount of sugar really destroys the quality of food.
the service is very good and the "Thali" is all you can eat - unlimited. Even thou the fresh vegetables are available, most of the time, the vegetables comprise of potatoes or canned vegetables, not fresh.

My favorite place. Go early and still expect to wait. The food and the service are worth the wait. Some of my favorites are swordfish with capers, halibut, Seabass, and lobster tail. I happen to love the rice pilaf because it’s brown rice with raisins in it -it is wonderful.
If it’s an anniversary or birthday make sure you order a dessert because it comes with a chocolate fish on top .

George's Greek Cafe welcomes you to "a little piece of Greece in Southern California." Our family-owned business is here to provide you with high quality food, craft cocktails, and an authentic Greek dining experience. Our restaurant has remained a favorite among the locals for one reason: we never compromise on our promise to provide fresh and delicious meals in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We continue to follow Mama Rodou's recipes, which were passed down to her from her grandmother. We use only the finest imported ingredients, such as first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil from Greece and premium, hormone-free, grass-fed lamb from New Zealand. We want to extend an open invitation to you to dine at one of our restaurants. Whether you're looking to impress a date with an intimate wine tasting, reconnecting with family over Saganaki Flaming Cheese and lamb chops, or planning the perfect wedding reception for 500 of your closest friends, we are here for you. Come in, and feel like part of the family. OPA!
This restaurant has a fun atmosphere with Greek art and paintings on the wall.
The employees are very warm & friendly. The food is fairly priced and large portions.
My family's favorite is the fried Calamari & Lamb Souvlaki. We dine here often & is our go-to restaurant for great lamb!

This Filipino food restaurant is a friendly and happy place, crowded and noise level usually a bit high – sounds of people having a good time. It has been around for 20 years so obviously it has a loyal fan base. We saw many family gatherings/ celebrations. Service was brisk and attentive. Food came out quick and we hardly had any room on our tables to accomodate all the food for our large group of 11. The San Miguel Negra beer served in a high tower complimented the food well. We polished off the food in no time. We especially liked the Beef Shank Vegetable (Nilagang Bulalo) soup, the Pork BBQ skewers, and the garlic rice. The milk fish (Bangos ala Pobre) was quite meaty and tasty. The Pancit Bihon and the Pancit Palabok were somewhat saucier than I’d expected. The other dishes: sizzling spinach, Chop Suey were pretty good. Prices were reasonable.

We happened by Gen after visiting a store in the same mall the AT&T store nearby around 2 pm and was surprised there was not a crowd gathering outside as usual (which had discouraged our prior attempts to try it out). We were seated immediately. The all you can eat (27 items) lunch menu price @$16 seems quite reasonable. We first selected 4 meats: beef bulgogi, garlic chicken , angus brisket (chador) and premium steak. We added a spicy chicken popcorn and another serving of bulgogi which we really liked. So much to eat. On top of all the protein, we were served a green salad, a nice warm tasty Korean glass noodles, two piping hot bowls of spicy tofu stew (soondooboo), and small dishes of kimchi, daikon, potato salad, and rice, etc. The quality of both the food and service was good. We will surely be back to try out dinner.

We are probably the last couple in Cerritos to visit this place. All reports we had received, except 2, praised it as a truly Mexican Mexican restaurant. Confirmation of that claim started at the door where the tortillas were being freshly made to a menu laden with dishes never seen before by us. I settled on my usual yardstick of quality - a carnival burrito - and found it to be at the top of my list (which says something given that there are 20 places around the world on it. Marianne had the 3 tacos lunch special and pounced it to be excellent. Noisy and crowded- for obvious reasons - but certainly worth the effort.

We actually wanted to go to cheesecake factory before the movie but we went here instead. Six of us had lunch it was OK the pizzas looked good with soup and salad that we were in a hurry to get to the movie.
After the movie was out again we wanted to go to cheesecake factory for happy hour but the line was already 30 minutes long at 4 PM. So we came back here. The appetizer menu for happy hour wasn't bad. friends tried some cosmos drinks they were happy with. the edamame was good, I would pass on the sweet potato tater tot's and the waffle chips were like little mini potatoes chips and were good
Pizza was good, as was everything. Corn soup was creamy and flavorful
